I REALLY Wanted To Love It…
First of all, the pros:As far as the sound goes, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Speaker has a deep bass and good tweeters (the side mounting of the latter makes for a really good surround sound quality). I’ve had no problems with bluetooth connection despite what other reviewers have complained of, nor do I understand the one reviewer who said that returning things to Amazon is painful. I’ve been a Prime member for over 10 years and I’ve NEVER had that problem. All returns have been quick and painless. The FM radio works fairly well. It gets a few stations that I know are on the dial in my area but doesn’t get at least one that I am aware of. I’ll try it outside a little later to see if reception improves. The AUX line works well. I’ve connected it to my phone and tablet headset jack and played music with no problem.But, the problem is that the cons are major! They are these:Neither the TF card nor USB flash drive I’ve tried played any of the music on either device (video attached), though I can play from either source when attached to my laptop. This is important to me since I desire the freedom of not having to have my phone connected in order to play music. The final concern was actually something that I thought I could work around — the seemingly fragile charging port. After all, if that fails, the speaker becomes useless.Now I’ve had no issues with it as yet, but the fact that a number of others (per the reviews) HAVE had the problem is a con to me. Before realizing that two of my music sources didn’t work, I had thought I would get the seller to agree to a limited replacement warranty (10 years or more) SOLELY on the charging port and I wouldn’t return it within the 30 day window. But, sadly, I have to return this one. But the good news is that I’ve seen a similar one with a comparable price here on Amazon that I’ll order on the same day (today) that I return this one. Hopefully, I’ll have better luck.EDIT: Well, the similar one didn’t measure up. I thought it had separate bass and treble controls, but it didn’t. I sent it back. I tried a different one and this time used the “Ask Rufus” feature about the controls. “Rufus” told me that – based on two customer reviews – IT had separate bass and treble controls. It didn’t, so it’s going back as well. In the meantime, I canceled my initial return for this one and restarted a return, opting for a replacement instead of a refund. Initially, I had the same problem. Neither TF (microSD) nor USB slots played music. So, I thought that maybe I had the wrong type of flash drive/U-clip. I then used a USB converter drive that many of us used prior to laptops having separate microSD slots on the side. I put the microSD card in the adapter and inserted it in the USB drive and music played. I later wondered if the microSD card I was using has simply too large. The one I was using has a 128GB capacity. I used one that was 64GB and lo and behold, the music played. I’m now KEEPING this one and the only reason I didn’t change my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars is the issue reported with the charging port. That forced me to spend another $6.99 for a 2 year warranty, since my contact with the seller about the limited warranty solely for the charging port fell on deaf ears. I’ve yet to hear from them. So, the bottom line is that I LOVE the speaker but will never by from the seller again. I just hope that it holds up…

As someone who owns a Bose sound dock III FOR THE iPhone and I myself own high end headphones from Sony WH-1000XM4 to Bose to dr Beats Studio I also own a Sony sound bar for tv Sony HT X8500 The speakers sound is on the same level as my Bose sound dock that’s $399 back in the day And it has so many features and the remote control comes in handy The lights on the speaker can in fact be tunrned off using the remote or click the play/pause button twice quickly it toggles the lights off/on It has built in EQ FORM POP TO ROCK You can actually control base and tri See my Bose sound dock III comes with a remot but has no base control no EQ nothing like we have in the speaker And I’m Bose is a known brand and this speaker isn’t brand name however keep in mind my sound Bose dock is from 2012 technology have improved over the years from 3D PRINTING TO you name it and just like technology law says things will get better with time. The fact this is portable unlike my sound dock that has to be plugged in the wall I can use this anytime anywhere and move it around as I please. Price is definitely good FM IS bonus And it has 2 mic and Karaoke features you can even play a song hold the button and it will take the vocals out You can also insert micro sd card As you can see my Apple Watch is able to measure sound using that song wireless it hit about 90 dB For the price and what it brings to the table you can’t go wrong it’s good and you won’t be disappointed i know im not

Good sound — Not reliable
This is a nice little radio with good sound. I was initially happy with the purchase, that has changed. The issue is: (1) It will flip from FM to other functions, like bluetooth, on its own, which happened almost immediately after purchase. (2) It shuts off on its own – not at first but now frequently. You can’t depend on it, very frustrating! I turn it on when I leave the house for my dog, to come home with it off!!! I would NOT recommend for these two reasons.

The quality of the sound and the sheer volume amazed me. The coupon reduced the price, making it a pretty cheap speaker, so my expectations weren’t very high. It puts out so much volume without distortion. The high and medium range sounds produced are strong and clear. The bass sound is every bit as strong and powerful as promised. The placement of speakers allows maximum enjoyment. The lights are okay, but it’s really about the sound. Absolutely my best purchase of the last year.

Esta reseña la escribo casi 2 años después de comprar el artículo. Inicio dándole 5 estrellas al sonido no es mejor que una bocina Bose pero no le pide nada a la marca, cuando la adquirí fue para una reunión en el jardín de mi casa, pensé que no sería suficiente por que estoy sobre una avenida principal, sin embargo, me sorprendió con su potencia y su buen sonido el bajo suena bien para ser un bocina tan pequeña. El único inconveniente es la batería que al año aproximadamente dejó de cargar al 100% pero fuera de eso sigue sonando muy bien! Solo la tengo que conectar más seguido a la luz o bien tenerla conectada para seguir usándola sin problema de que se apagué. Vale cada centavo el artículo.
