This is a great sound bar
This sound bar has been great for our living room. Out TV was not very loud and we had to turn. the volume our to 40 ish just to hear certain shows. This bar has helped magnify the sound and now we have the TV up p just 20. It looks sleek and does not interfere with the TV screen. I do not use the remote it came with as the TV one works just fine once you get the bar plugged in. I was able to use a payment plan for the bar which was great and it was easy to pay the $38 a month for 4 months. I would buy this bar again for the guest room and my main bedroom.

    Sounds great
First, it works great but I had to buy an optical audio cable to get mine hooked up because my LG TV was bought back in 2011. But with that it works great.Second, the sound is very good and I would recommend having this one.

Seems OK, but has these annoying artificial voice verification of actions.
This seems to work fine and it is the only remote soundbar I have had that lasted longer than a couple of weeks while in “Bluetooth” mode. It does have an annoying feature. It announces what it is doing (like “Connecting” to the TV when turned on.). What is especially irritating is that it seems to do these announcements at it’s highest volume. I’ll have the volume on the unit adjusted to just where I like it. I’ll come in and turn on the TV to hear “CONNECTED” in a loud mechanical voice about 5 seconds later. Even worse, after you turn the TV off, it’ll sat “DISCONNECTED” in the same loud annoying voice. A while later, it’ll announce something else, and so on. When I first hooked it up, I thought there was someone in the living room after I went to bed. I am now in yhe habit of turning the unit off when I turn the TV off.I have looked in the instructions to see if there is a way to turn this “feature off”, but haven’t found anything.EDIT : I finally figured out to silence the commands. Buried in the instruction booklet is the fact that a “Long Press” on the mute button will turn the voice commands off. I tried it several times and it didn’t seem to work. It turns out that a “Long Press” is indeed long. Hold the +”Mute” button down for at least 15 seconds until the white lights flash and they will finally be gone.

My first sound bar and I am happy!
The VOLUME and the BASS that comes out of this!! I use it with my Amazon TV, and I don’t need a super surround sound, just good quality sound! This sound bar really delivers for high quality movie watching nights!

    Much better than expected.
Great improvement over the speakers in my series 4 Fire TV, and was plug and play when following the one simple instruction: HDMI input in the eARC/ARC HDMI input on the TV. No set-up needed if properly attached via the included HDMI cable. And my Fire TV remote controls volume so I only need the sound bar remote to control to toggle through the equalizer presets: voice, movies/music. And the sound quality is as good as I would wish from a sound bar for TV listening. The reviews I read that were less than glowing, which may have managed my FAR lower expectations I would respectfully disagree with. It’s a sound bar not a Mac stack running B&O reference speakers. It’s a damn sound bar and damn good at an incredible price that is plug and play on Fire TVs. What more would anyone expect or wish for?! In my typical listener opinion, admittedly not an over the top audiophile, this is a terrific, ridiculously affordable and many orders of magnitude improvement in the audio experience when watching TV, and even a great way to listen to Amazon Music without being shot by your neighbors.Recommend without reserve. And kudos to Amazon for amazing product at unbeatable prices — delivered to my door!

Happy for now but not impressed
So, I have a insignia fire tv so you would think an Amazon fire soundbar would work perfectly? It was particularly hard to set up, but the issue was that tv speakers wouldn’t switch off so I would have an echoing, double effect of audio. The setting said they were off, but they were not. In fact, I couldn’t even switch them off normally. Even with nothing connected, I switch them off and still get sound pushed through.I kept trying to fix it. What I had to do was:1) Settings2) HDMI-CEC control3) Switch One Touch Play off4) Turn off Soundbar5) Set Volume to 06) Turn Soundbar back onThat seem to let the soundbar function independently, get rid of the echoing, and get everything to work as described. The downside, the volume will only go up and down at 2 intervals despite what I set it to internally. And, there is no easy way to switch between the TV and sound bar for audio without screwing up the good result I got after working all day on it.Also, make sure you plug into your first HDMI port/Arc port. I had my gaming console set up and didn’t realize my intital issue of no sound was the fact that I needed to swap the ports.Frankly, being an Amazon soundbar with and Amazon TV that specifically has a set up for it. I would say the functionality kind of sucks because it it should just work, like it says it should, by following the instructions without having to search up and down for way to keep both audios from playing. Like, the setting say the internal speakers were off despite being a lie and that setting effected nothing. It made it more difficult them it needed to get it to work somewhat normally.I would prefer to set it so volume interval is 1 but I guess to make this usable I am stuck at 2 everytime. And, I better hope that nothing changes and messes it up again in a update to the TV.The sound itself is a improvement, and there is a marked difference between regular and surround sound. It sort of like watching TV versus going to a theater. It terms of the way it fills the room and hits your ear. I can’t say that the movie, music, dialogue settings seem to different to me. The size is okay. It just tall enough to not block my screen. The length is just about the size of my dresser. Depth is about 3.5 inches so as long as you have another room in front or to push back your TV, you will be fine.Overall, it is nice but I am not sure if I am total happy I bought it considering it was almost $90 for what I would categorize as works okay. I feel like for that price, and the fact I specifically bought Amazon for the fact I thought it would better with fire tv, that I am not blown away. Happy for now, but not impressed.

Easy setup and very good sound
Easy setup and the sound is very good. The bass is lacking so if that is important to you ensure that you purchase one with a subwoofer.
