So Impressed!
I was immediately impressed with the Hisense M2 Pro and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The setup was incredibly easy, within minutes I was up and running, watching my favorite shows without any hassle. The auto-focus feature worked perfectly right out of the box, so I never had to adjust a thing to get a clear, bright picture. The image quality is crisp and vibrant, and even in a room with a bit of light, it still looks fantastic. I also love how intuitive the interface feels, making it simple to stream from my favorite apps and jump between content seamlessly. The sound quality honestly surprised me. I wasn’t sure what to expect from such a compact device, but the audio feels full and immersive, like it’s wrapping around you, even without external speakers. The carrying case is a thoughtful touch that makes it easy to take anywhere, whether I’m setting it up for a backyard movie night or packing it for a weekend trip. Overall, the Hisense M2 Pro delivers a premium experience in every way portable, powerful, and easy to use. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality projector that combines performance, design, and convenience.

Amazing quality and super easy to use!!
The Hisense M2 Pro completely exceeded my expectations. Setup was quick and effortless—I had it running in minutes. The picture quality is stunning: vibrant colors, sharp detail, and smooth motion. I was also blown away by the built-in sound—rich and clear enough that I didn’t need external speakers.Navigating the menus is a breeze. The interface is clean, and all the settings are easy to find and adjust. Whether I’m watching movies or streaming shows, it delivers a true home theater experience. Highly recommend!

HONEST REVIEW: WHAT A FANTASTIC MACHINE!
So I upgraded from an old Epson short throw projector and I cannot explain how dramatic the difference is!!! The picture is better than my 4k 65″ TV, thats no exaggeration. I am simply blown away by how crisp, clear and vibrant the image is when projected on a simple white fixed frame screen.Unboxing was simple. It comes in a heavy duty styrofoam case that I saw someone online cut out a hole for the lens and one more for the power cord so that it is protected around kids or while outdoors. Clever. I dont have that issue and mine is mounted to the ceiling (more on that in a second). The remote control is aluminum and hefty. It is also nicely backlit. The projector itself has a plastic case in a nice silvery almost champagne finish. The plastic is so good that it really looks and even feels like an alloy. I dont know how they did that. The included gimble is a nice touch. The stand has a 1/4″ female mount for either a ceiling mount or tripod. I oped for the ceiling, like I mentioned earlier. However, the gimble is essential to mounting and I did not want a big rod with the large flat stand hanging off of it. I wanted it as flush to the ceiling as possible. So I opted for a flat camera mounting plate that I was able to affix thru the ceiling and into a rafter in the ceiling using structural screws. The plate, sometimes called a cheese plate, is small enough to be hidden under the stand only takes up about an inch of thickness between the ceiling and the projector. I used a male to male 1/4″ screw to attach the two together. You can buy these at your local camera shop or on Amazon. They are super cheap and get the job done for a clean install. Notes: do not get a plastic plate, use a steel one or aluminum, use a stainless steel screw and blue thread lock to keep it from wiggling loose. The projector has it’s own streaming platform or operating system called VIDAA. It works perfectly, so no need for additional sticks or wires unless you have it hooked up to a dedicated surround system, which I do. I havent tinkered with the OS to see if it can be unlocked for sideliading, but I will attempt that one day. I cant say anything regarding the internal audio bc, again, I have a surround setup. The projector is ready for 4k, HDR10, HDR+, Dolby Vison and more.On the very first day of use, I noticed my eyes sometimes caught the rainbow effect but the next day, they must’ve gotten used to it because I dont see it anymore. The self adjusting keystone correction is spot on too!! I have it projecting on a 120″ screen at about 11.5ft away. The optical zoom doesnt lose any picture resolution and the auto focus was perfect for me. Im using it in the Standard Mode setting, which it was set to out of the box. It’s a bit brighter than Filmmaker Mode, but I like that. Speaking of brightness…this thing pushes out every bit of its 1300 lumens, Im sure. I was worried at first that it would be too dim, but not at all! The image has bright whites and deep blacks thanks to the trichroma lasers and a 3dlp chip, or so Im told. I could not be happier. For the relatively small investment, this projector, thru and thru, is AMAZING! I cant believe it can have all these features for less than LED competitors. Thank you, Hisense for putting out a product that gives us more bang for the buck than I could even expect. This is the best buy of the year! Hope this honest review helps someone else to enjoy the M2 Pro like I am.

Easy to use, great picture, and awesome for family movie nights indoors or outside after dark
I’ve been really happy with this projector so far. Setup was about as simple as it gets — I plugged it in, aimed it at the wall, and it basically handled the focus and alignment for me. Every time you move it or bump it very quickly recalibrates. No need to dig through menus or spend forever adjusting it, which I really appreciated. Using it outside on a plain white tarp, I did have to adjust the shape of the screen due to the shape of the tarp being off a little. It was super easy to do that. The design is lightweight and easy to carry, so moving it from the living room to the backyard isn’t a chore at all.Picture quality is excellent, especially in the evening. Colors pop, details are sharp, and it works great on different surfaces. I’ve tried it on a plain painted wall, the white ceiling, a white canvas tarp, and it looked good on all of them. I would imagine if you’ve got a proper projection screen it looks even better, but the nice part is you don’t need one to enjoy it.Outdoors, it’s perfect for movie nights after sunset. Everyone in the family loved watching on the screen we made for the backyard, and it felt like having a drive-in at home. Just keep in mind it can’t compete with direct sunlight — the picture will fade pretty fast during the day — so it’s really meant for shaded spots or evening/night use.The built-in speakers are way better than I expected. Voices come through nice and clear, and there’s enough volume to fill a living room or backyard without hooking up anything extra. Sure, you could add external speakers if you want more bass or a bigger theater feel, but for casual nights it’s more than enough.Overall, it’s a great mix of convenience and quality. Easy setup, easy to carry, works on almost any surface, and sounds good too. It’s turned out to be a fun addition for both family nights inside and outdoor gatherings with friends. Honestly, it’s just been a pleasure to use.

The M2pro is truly a portable high end projector with optical zoom which doesn’t impact the image being displayed. The weight of it is not heavy and the speakers provide an immersive experience. Even on a wall without a blank white screen or an alr screen the projector produces great colours and there is a setting to lower the luminance if it is too bright during the morning or evening that can be found on the remote. I’d recommend getting this projector as it is probably the best entry level projector as it comes with built in speakers, and optical zoom which normally is found on much more expensive projectors.

It’s a great projector. The video resolution is fantastic, the speakers are good – especially if you’re in a theatre room – it’s quiet when in operation, and the stand is much more ergonomic and adjustable than most other projectors. However, it does lack good color contrast and the quality does suffer in a dimly lit room.Even at 1080p, the quality is excellent. Small fonts can be easily read, color gradients blend well, and there isn’t any noticeable blur. Gaming does have some lag, but as long as you’re not playing competitively you won’t notice a huge difference. Where it falls flat is the color contrast, as the colors look noticeably washed out when compared to either a laptop screen or a TV.The speakers are good enough to be a standalone theatre experience. The bass is reasonably heavy, and music sounds decent. Some distance and range is there. They don’t compare to discrete speakers, but you already knew that. The speakers shine especially in a smaller room, where the sound coming off the sides can reflect and provide an immersive experience. One of the most vital parts of a projector to me is the noise. If a fan is always going and that same fan also happens to be loud, I can’t focus on the media I am watching. The fan on this projector is near silent. It is easily drowned out by the speakers and doesn’t disturb the experience at all. Finally, the stand is significantly more adjustable than most projectors. Plenty of projectors will just have a thumb screw for angle adjustments on the bottom of the projector, but the stand on this projector makes it easy and quick to set up and focus. The keystone works well as long as the surface is flat – if it isn’t flat it tends to display crooked or angled, and you have to turn the projector away and back to get it to re-calibrate.Overall, if you have the budget and want a portable projector, this is a fantastic choice. It has good speakers, excellent video quality, and quiet operation. You may find yourself wanting for color contrast but as long as it’s in a dark room it won’t be a massive issue.
To-The-Point Reviews –
This projector is a phenomenal upgrade over the cheaper projector I was previously using outside. The quality is absolutely incredible and the display shows up super clear even when there’s a ton of light. It’s fairly compact as well which make it easy to hang or tuck away somewhere. I found it was pretty easy to use and change settings as needed, but once I was done the initial setup, I’ve hardly had to tinker with it at all. After having it outside at the trailer for a couple of months, it’s still exceeding expectations and I couldn’t be happier with it. Superb quality!

The Hisense M2 Pro 2025 model is everything I hoped for in a high-end projector. The 4K UHD resolution, combined with the triple colour laser technology and AI 4K upscaler, delivers incredibly sharp, vibrant visuals that rival any premium TV. Whether projecting at 65″ or going up to 200″, the image quality remains consistently stunning. The 1300 ANSI lumens brightness handles both dark and moderately lit rooms with ease, and the optical zoom allows for flexible setup without compromising clarity. The built-in DTS Virtual:X audio is also surprisingly immersive—definitely a bonus if you don’t want to hook up an external speaker right away.Setup was straightforward, and the VIDAA smart interface is intuitive and responsive, with all the essential streaming apps ready to go. This projector has completely elevated our home movie nights and gaming sessions. If you’re looking for a top-tier projector that combines cinematic picture quality with smart functionality and great sound, the Hisense M2 Pro is worth every penny.

This is an amazing projector. Video & audio quality are excellent, and the unit itself operates quietly (fan is almost silent). The stand allows for easy adjustments and offers flexibility in terms of placement/physical setup. The projector comes dupplied with an excellent carrying case, which allows one to pack everything up neatly and securely. If this unit fits within your budget, it’s an excellent choice and highly recommended!
