Big sound from a small speaker.
Absolutely one of the best Bluetooth speakers I have bought in recent years!I purchased quite a few Bluetooth speakers from different brands over the years (Sony, Harmon Karmon, Bose, JBL, Ultimate Ears) and this latest addition to the JBL family just absolutely rocks.It’s small enough to sit on my nightstand but loud enough to fill my small apartment with good clear bass pumping sound. Out of the box, it has great clarity with just the right amount of bass, but you can download the JBL app and be able to find tune it to your own personal needs. But for me, the sound is great just as it is. It’s small and portable but it delivers 45 Watts of sound which is quite a lot to pack into such a package of its size.The battery life is wonderful and long lasting. I have bigger and more expensive bluetooth speakers to use but this fits a niche for me that is just right. And at this price, it is a really good value for the money. Not to mention, I really love the color. It’s the right shade of purple for me.It definitely improves the sound quality when I’m watching a movie on my big tablet. This is definitely one speaker that is worth its price.

JBL6 Excellent
Expensive, but worth every penny! Easy to attached thru bluetooth. I have used this speaker on Microsoft and apple products. (laptops). Sounds wonderful. battery lasts a long time. There is a scale light that shows a person when to recharge the battery and also it shows when the battery is charged to 100%. I have also used this on my samsung” tis. The bbl 6 is a masterpiece in quality and appearance.

Better than Sony ULT field three!
I dig deep base and this delivers. I ordered a Sony field three and this Charge 6 to compare them. The Sony came defective – it had a flashing yellow light and refused to accept charging. Eager to run my test, I then went to Best Buy and got an another Sony and it worked fine so I could compare the two. I also took the opportunity at Best Buy to compare all the speakers in this size class that they had on display. The JBL is definitely better at delivering deep throbbing bass when you use the EQ in the app and raise the bass all the way up. Then you have to use a second EQ on the source side which in my case is the EQ in the Spotify app. Raising the base in Spotify along with the maxed out EQ base in the JBL results in great base -equivalent to the ULT mode on the Sony. But where the JBL outperforms is when you really crank up the volume it will give you great base without distortion whereas with the Sony turning up the volume in ULT mode will result in a lot of clipping on the base which is unlistenable. I compared the two over the course of several days and the JBL was the clear winner. Again the trick is to pre-EQ it for maximum base and then use the JBL app to set the in unit EQ to maximum base. I am a professional motion picture editor and have used JBL studio monitors for over 36 years, so when it comes to critical assessment of audio performance I know a thing or two! This little charge six continually amazes me with the depth of sound that comes out of such a tiny unit. Again, it is definitely better than the ULT field three from Sony. I did a lot of research before ordering these products for comparison and it is interesting that a lot of reviewers and AI results indicated that the Sony had better base, but I think what they are failing to realize is that when you want loud volume with no distorted base, the JBL is much better and when you set your pre-EQ and unit EQ for more base, it is equivalent and I think a bit better than the Sony at moderate volumes. Essentially using the JBL‘s internal EQ is like configuring your own custom ULT button on the Sony. Then my own personal preference is to pre-queue it in Spotify with even more base and it’s great! With no distortion! I’ve attached a couple of pictures that show my EQ settings. The algorithm that JBL is using to manage clipping at loud volumes is the best I’ve ever seen. I can turn the volume up to painful levels and it will not distort. This little thing performs so well that every day I can’t wait to grab it and go for a walk with my tunes blasting and it’s probably keeping me safe from the mountain lions and bears! Another plus for this speaker is that there is a YouTube video showing how to open it up and replace the battery, the process is very easy. However it appears we have to wait a while for replacement batteries to become available. Also, customer service is top-notch. I called at 8 o’clock on a Sunday morning because I got stuck doing the online registration process and got a very helpful person right away, they were in the Philippines or India I think. He acknowledged there was a bug and very patiently typed in all my information And then sent me a personal email with all of the confirming data. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient! – Footnote – yes I know how to spell bass, especially since I’m a musician, but obviously Siri’s dictation does not.

Good Quality
A very good little speaker. This replaced an older one we had for about 10 years. Used it in the sun, got it wet and no problems. Quality seems very good for the new model as well.As you know, bass is always an issue for a small speaker. This JBL does very well, maybe a little better than the older model. The app has an equalizer which works ok. Again, the right expectation is necessary when buying a small speaker.All in all, a great product. Good looks, good sound, easy pairing and good battery life. Definitely recommend.

Just got my speaker today. Unpacked it , plugged it in to charge. It already had about a 76% charge. Synced it to my phone. Downloaded the JBL app which is pretty cool for making personal adjustments to your sound preferences. Activated my warranty and decided it was time to sample it. Sound is amazing. Deep and rich vocals. Love the handle and it was simple to put on. Very nice product.

The JB6 Charge makes you the life of a party.
Be the life of a party with your JB6 Charge wherever you go. I use the speaker on my bike and it gave no issue. It is always on the go wherever I ride my bike to. It is also good for pool parties and outdoor events. The speaker is loud enough for anyone to hear you, especially for wildlife and drivers. You can also put it anywhere you want to play as it is not too big. The strap makes it easy to transport around with you. It is very loud, even louder than the Anker Soundcore 360. I have had the speaker for almost four months and still makes high quality sound. Very accessible for Bluetooth and utilizes and application so you can connect with other JB6 speakers. I can get at least a few hours of continuous music play before a have to recharge. I could go about five days at two hours at a time before I recharge. There is an indicator on the speaker as to how much juice is left before you recharge. It also indicates if it is charging and shows you how much time is needed before fully charged. The speaker has not moved from my bike as it has been affixed on. Rain hasn’t stopped it from playing, or even a partial breakage. Still lasted a bit longer than the Anker Soundcore 360. Would definitely buy again or recommend this.

The sound quality is great! It’s not too big. Didn’t come with a charging cable. Bluetooth connection is good. The battery life is superb. The overall quality and performance seems great.

This speaker is the best bluetooth speaker I’ve ever had. Its heavy and well built.To be fair, I haven’t had that many, but this one is louder than my car stereo and is amazing for work as it’s dust and waterproof. The sound is really clear and the ends of the speaker really jump when the bass is thumping. You can pick from a variety of colours or finishes for a unique twist. And the battery power lasts way longer than a day. The powerbank is nice too for your smartphone or vape on the go. Highly recommend
