Convenient keyless entry
Had a friend install it for me. Love the ease of entry and exit with no key! My family can enter if I’m not home which has been convenient. So far no problems at all. Easy to program too.

The dead bolt works great. Had to readjust the strike plate. The instructions for setting and deleting codes could be better but eventually figured it out!

This was easy to install, you just need a screwdriver, and make sure the deadbolt orientation is aligned to avoid the knob to be stuck in the wrong position. The programming and re-keying instructions were not in the package, I had to google it but it takes less than a minute to program a code, and the same to re-key.I will definitely recommend.

L handed door doesn’t work
WARNING IF YOU’RE USING A “LEFT” SIDED lockI installed one of these in my front door and it worked well, loved it. I wanted to buy one for my side door to match, and that has resulted in countless hours of frustrationMy side door has the lock on the left side when facing it from inside the house. I bought 3 of these, 2 used and one new. None can figure out my lock. Tried every thing, reset hundreds of times. Rehanded hundreds of times. At first I thought maybe the used ones they sent me didn’t work, bought a new one at store. Same problem. Called kwikset, they have no solution. Google, reddit advice, no solution. Door still turns and works fine with key but the actual electronic part tries to lock the wrong way every time. Fails set up. I already have one on my R handed door, so I know how it’s supposed to work. This one doesn’t.Now have to have different brands/not matching on my doors. Wish I would’ve just started with a different brand to begin with.
