This tripod is a mixture of plastics and aluminum.Designed to work well, while keeping the weight to a minimum.All the fittings, clamps, pivots, all work well.My ONLY complaint is the SPRING LOADED CLAMP USED TO HOLD THE CELLPHONE DOESN’T OPEN WIDE ENOUGH.I have a “large format” i-phone 15 in an Otterbox case.I should NOT have to remove the safety case from my iPhone for this application.

Great stable tripod, and easy to set up. The only other thing you might want to consider is purchasing a remote camera trigger so you don’t accidentally move the camera off your shot by touch the screen.

Nice and solid quite heavy I’m not quite sure if I be able to carry it around all day in London or something but it’s certainly well made it’s only the second tripod I’ve ever had. I bought it to support my mirror lens which is very hard to use handheld.Recommended.
