A very smart and useful education aid!
Very happy to choose this translation pen! The pen is perfect to handle and portable. I’ve tried each function on the screen. It is easy to scan and translate quickly to show words on the screen and also reads the words out clearly. I used the voice translation to test what my pronunciation is correctly or not when I learn Spanish and German. It’s happy and a lot of fun to work with. This is a useful tool to provide Instant, portable and convenient text translation without needing to type or use a phone.

Not working for me.
I wanted this to work. Here are some of the problems:The directions don’t really exist, so there was no way to find out how to make it work if this is one’s first time. I tried several languages, and the translator didn’t work.There is no product support.Voice to text feature didn’t work.Unfortunately, the product is not user friendly, and I couldn’t get the functions I was promised.

Very clear and convenient
I wasn’t sure if this pen would really help, but it’s actually been amazing. It scans words fast and reads them out loud super clearly, which makes reading way easier for me. I don’t get stuck on words as much, and it keeps me from losing focus. It’s small enough to carry around, and the battery lasts a long time too. Honestly, it’s made reading less stressful and a lot more doable.

Clever but not necessary
Considering the price I can’t go above three stars for this.1. It’s hard to use. The touch screen isn’t very responsive and sometimes takes several presses to register.2. It needs a wifi connection to be fully useful. It only uses 2.4Ghz networks. And you rely on the manufacturer’s server, which one day may go away.3. The instructions are terrible. Supposedly you can transfer translated output to somewhere else (your phone? your laptop? it doesn’t say) but there are no directions for doing this.4. It’s very slow. The speech translation is a nice feature but way too slow to use in a real-time situation.5. You can get everything the pen provides on a smartphone. That includes the scanning feature except you can scan a whole page at a time instead of slowly line by line.6. It’s really oriented towards Chinese translation and vocabulary, and provides odd features like ancient poetry.I would say just use your smartphone. This is a very clever gadget but not one that you need.
