Step your photographer game up!
I’ve been wanting to snag one of these hot shoe phone holders for a while now, but there are always so many options. This is the first one I went with and I am impressed. It holds very well in landscape as well as portrait mode, it pivots, turns and really is overall a great product.

Works pretty well but it doesn’t hold level. I placed my tripod on a perfectly level floor and installed this. My phone camera is showing it’s a hair off level. You can’t make micro adjustments with this mount so I had to adjust the legs on my tripod to get the perfect frame.It screws onto my tripod very easily and tights nicely. It does rotate but for me I don’t need that being my tripod does that for me. I will point out, if you place your phone in vertically to record and want to plug anything into the phone, you have to place the phone high in the mount making it less stable and more prone to shaking. There just not a lot of room at the bottom of the mount for usb connections. Overall this will do what I need it to do but it’s got its drawbacks so for that I can’t give this 5 stars

Works perfect and hold my phone great. No wiggle room or anything. Just used it for a wedding and my phone did not budge for hours!

Cheap Construction
NOT good!!!! As soon as I opened the box the twist knob to tighten and loosen for the hot shoe mount was jammed tight. Had to bust out channel lock pliers to get it loose. Once loose I put my iPhone 17 pro max in the mount and put it on top of my camera, then IMMEDIATELY the cheap plastic phone mount could not support the phone and kept flopping over. Plastic material is no good. I don’t know if mine is defective but it was garbage upon arrival.

I use this on a camcorder that I converted to a solid state from digital tape to hold the new controlling solid state system works gray.Everything fits nice.I wish it had a way to tighten the swivel but other than that, it’s perfect
