Amazing Projector – Family Movie Nights Upgraded!
I’m really impressed with the TCL C1 Google TV projector! The auto-focus and auto-keystone features are super convenient — it adjusts by itself perfectly every time, no manual setup needed. Even with the room lights on, the picture stays bright and clear, which really surprised me. The built-in Dolby Digital sound make it feel like a mini home theater. My kids now actually prefer to stay home and watch Disney movies on this projector instead of going to the theater. It’s compact, easy to use, and the image quality is fantastic. Totally worth it!

Real experience of one month of use
I’ve been using the TCL C1 GTV Portable Projector for a month now. It’s helped me break free from my traditional TV habits. I spend most of my time gaming on my computer, so I only watch TV or videos around bedtime. My TV is in the living room, so it’s a real hassle to have to go downstairs after getting ready to watch TV. I also don’t want to install a TV in my bedroom. This product perfectly fits my lifestyle.Let me share my experience. Initially, I was very skeptical of portable projectors, believing their picture quality, sound quality, and brightness wouldn’t provide an immersive experience. But this product has truly broken my stereotype. While it won’t live up to the quality of a traditional TV, projecting the screen to my ceiling and being able to watch my favorite TV series in bed after getting ready is fantastic. At night, when there’s no noise and the room isn’t too bright, the projector is more than enough to immerse me. The picture is clear, the brightness is adequate, and the sound isn’t too loud or too quiet. Best of all, I can play my Switch in bed with such a large screen. It’s truly amazing!During this month, I even brought this projector to my Airbnb to watch movies and play Switch games with friends. They all commented that it significantly enhanced their travel experience, which reaffirmed my belief that this projector was a great value. In short, I highly recommend buying this projector. Considering its price and my personal experience, it’s not only a great value, but it will also bring a whole new experience to your life!

For the price I paid, knowing it was a no-light projector, I have no regrets.
I got this on during a Prime Deal, so I paid about $175. For that price I’m very happy with the purchase. It was basically a test run to see if I wanted a projector instead of a TV. So a great value for what I paid, but I don’t have anything to compare it to.This is not a bright projector and they don’t advertise it as one. You basically need complete darkness to fully enjoy it. I am also projecting onto a wall so I might be exceeding the 120″ recommended limit. I haven’t measured it. If it was closer it would probably be brighter with better contrast but I prefer the bigger image for now. Butter over too much bread, etc.So I might be exceeding recommended specs and they didn’t exaggerate the brightest on the box. So it is what it is. Not counting that against TCL.And surprisingly, a 1080p image doesn’t look bad even at that size. Especially if animated. Was noticing details I didn’t notice on a typical 50/60″ inch tvs. Was expecting to look blurry but I might just upgrade to an amazing 1080p projector in the future instead of spending more on a 4k one.The color quality is satisfactory, good even. I don’t have any way to test it but I had no complaints about the color from sight alone. But the contrast will obviously suffer with the low brightest. The auto focus is quick and accurate. I probably overused it because it only took about ten seconds to calibrate. The Google interface and menus are very snappy. My mother bought a different cheap Halloween projector and it was slow and exhausting to use in comparison to this one. This felt like a good streaming stick. If you’re using this casually and don’t intend to install it I might suggest a sturdy tripod (that can support a 10-15 pound device) since you have to move the projector to increase or decrease the size of the image… I think, and you want to minimize the angle. I’m just currently stacking boxes. It does correct for some amount of angle but I presume you get the best image when projecting straight ahead. It has WIFI and Bluetooth which were useful for headphones but the speakers are acceptable when I use them. This is plug powered. My only unexpected issue was the HDMI port was a little out of alignment on mine. I was really struggling to plug something in until I realized that it worked if I inserted at a downward angle. Also there is no lens cover. And lastly, I was amused there was an eco mode. That’s probably just a standard setting for the OS but when you almost have to block moonlight from coming through the windows, offering me the ability to reduce the brightness even more was pretty funny. The outdoor version is brighter but more expensive. However, the outdoor model was $250 on sale. What this apparently costs at full price. Might have gone with that if I made the purchase again. But I might play with a smaller image to see what that does to the brightness. But if I could block out the light, I’d be entirely happy with this.It feels and works like a premium device in the right conditions.

Amazing portal monitor!
Really happy with my TCL monitor. It was super easy to set up — basically plug and play. The screen looks amazing, super sharp and clear, and the sound quality is way better than I expected for something this small. Great for travel or just having a second screen at home. It’s also very easy to pair with my TCL soundbar. Totally worth it!

Great Projector
I bought this projector just to give it a try, and it completely exceeded my expectations! It’s super compact, easy to use, and takes up almost no space. The screen size can be easily adjusted to fit my needs, and the picture quality — in terms of clarity, color, and brightness — is excellent. It perfectly matches what I was hoping for. Absolutely love it!

Not Really
Color and sound are good. Odd auto-keystone correction behavior is a deal breaker. Use the manual keystone correction to address this issue. Purchased as a gift due to brand recognition. BENQ GV30 is a far superior projector.

Elegant look, Bright, Easy to use
The design is elegant, the materials look premierThe first thing that blew me away was the brightness. The sound was another surprise. It’s not just “okay” — it’s loud and clear enough that I sometimes forget it’s coming from the projector. When I hooked it up to my soundbar via HDMI, it instantly felt like a mini home theater.Casting is super smooth, movies from my iPhone play without lag. Watching on the big wall is so much more relaxing than holding my phone.
