Great multi functional lock.
This door lock is awesome. The price is very reasonable. The features are amazing; and I use them all. Besides a key, it has finger print sensor, FOBs, number entry and I got it to work with my Google Home (I tell Google to lock or unlock it with a password I created) and I used them all and Works!!!! The install was fairly simple; I am pretty handy though and had to do some minor adjustments to door slots; but nothing out of the ordinary. The app is very functional. The Google home linkage had the usual minor bugs, but again, nothing special. I thought that one of the FOBs was not working anymore and contacted customer support; who promptly responded in a caring manor offering help; with follow up calls. Turns out the issue was on my side I put the FOB by the finger print sensor not the FOB sensor that is in the middle of the keyboard; so it was my fault. Also, the keyboard is lit and has a speaker telling you what is going on! So awesome. We shall see how the long term reliability looks like; but the product looks very solid. I live in Florida and my previous electronic lock gave up after 4 years. But, even if i would have to replace this lock every 4 years, it would not be a big deal, given the great price point. Again, love this lock. Makes me want to go in and out of my house all the time. 🙂 Very happy.

Nice deadbolt
This is a great deadbolt. Nice oil rubbed bronze color that matches all the other hardware in my house. It was super easy to install. The fingerprint recognition is great! The only thing I didn’t care for was that it uses a different app than the handleset/deadbolt combo I bought from the same company. I wish they were the same. But, If you don’t mind that, it’s a great product!

Read First
It works pretty well, but sometimes it struggles to read my fingerprint. I’d definitely keep your key with you, or just use the code. If you try the fingerprint too many times, the alarm goes off and fingerprint mode gets disabled — then you’ll need the key to reset it. Battery life is decent. Overall, good for what it is, just be prepared for the fingerprint quirks.

Excellent Customer Service and Support from Sam at Hornbill
Sam was so patient with me with the installation of my 2 locks. He extended his work time almost 2 hours past his shift just to help me have a successful installation. I love the product and I love the customer support from Sam at Hornbill! Thanks again for a wonderful product and Spectacular Support! Kudos to you Sam!!😁

Oil rubbed bronze (except for the silver parts)
Probably a decent lock set, but during set up i see the latch cover for both the door and the door frame are silver with an oil rubbed brinze keyless deadbolt.Was told by customer service “ We use a unified standard for this” and “ So far so sorry we don’t have other colors of latch cover, so sorry for that”Great product design Hornbill

Efficient
Works much faster locking, unlocking, and talking with the 3rd party app that voice controls to use these functions. I had an older version of this lock i wanted to sync with the new lock and the app was different so i could not tell Alexa to lock everything under one command. Still invaluable if im running late. I can still use two commands in my car with my phone.

Amazing value and features!
Lock works great! I love the convenience of the fingerprint scanner and easy installation! The instuctions are very clear too. I can’t believe the price is so low, and this is much quieter than the lock I replaced. Sam gave great customer service! I bought two and will come back for more later. Also, the commication supports WIFI so you do not need a Zigby home automation controller.

Covers the basics but has some important annoyances in functionality
While it did assemble easily and got connected, it is a glitchy lock. Fingerprint registration went easily for me, but keeps failing for my wife. The gateway only works if it’s right next to the lock, so we’ll just do without the Alexa functionality since the app already provides enough like redundant entry mechanisms (code, fingerprint, and app unlock) along with auto lock.
