I Was Disappointed; But I Am Now Very Satisfied.
Since I set up this device, I have been looking for any excuse to keep it, and not return it. It looks good, and the idea is great. However, the more I consider the dilemma, the more convinced I am that it must be returned. The performance is deplorable. The screen is not bright or sharp enough. Just dull. In fact, 720p is brighter and sharper than this. Very limited and perhaps useless settings. I cannot access the contents of the SD Card from the device itself. It claims to have a motion sensor, but there is no setting for it, and the motion sensor (if it really has any) does not work at all. It fails to meet my needs and the purpose of my purchase. I will return it and perhaps get the Amazon Echo Show 21 instead.UPDATE: Since I left my 2-Stars rating, the Seller and Manufacturer diligently communicated with me his ernest efforts to resolve the issues to my satisfaction. And he did. He has been very courteous, diligent, compassionate, and professional in all the emails back and forth. He also sent me a new digital frame. I just received the new digital frame. I haven’t set it up yet; but, even if the new digital frame were to have all of the issues I complained about, I would still give my 5-Stars because of the excellent and nonpariel customer service that I received.

Returned: Rejects standard Outlook ICS links, weak support, wasted hours
I bought this to be a disability accommodation for ADHD time blindness. I needed a wall display that simply subscribes to my Microsoft 365 Outlook calendar. That is the bare minimum. It failed.What happened:I published my Outlook calendar in the browser and copied the ICS link. Verified it in a private Safari tab. It downloads and begins with BEGIN:VCALENDAR, so the feed is valid.The product’s app funnels you into an “iCloud” sync flow. Its email bot rejects anything that is not an iCloud webcal link.I used the paste box instead, tried https:// and webcal://, and even encoded the at sign as %40. The app still returned “invalid URL.”I also tried syncing through iOS Calendar first, then adding that. Still dead.Support is email only, slow, and sent silent screen recordings with no clear steps. No fix.Result: hours burned over 10 days and zero value. I returned it.Who should avoid this:Anyone on Microsoft 365 who needs to paste a normal Outlook ICS URL.Anyone who needs fast, clear support.What the maker should fix:Accept standard iCal URLs from Outlook 365.Add a clear “Add by URL” that is not iCloud only.Replace vague errors with actionable messages.Provide real setup docs and voiced videos with on-screen clicks.Alternatives that do work with Outlook or ICS:Skylight CalendarDAKboardEcho Show with Outlook account linkedBottom line: I paid over $100 and could not perform the single function I bought it for. Returned.

Cheap, good customer support but not from the software Frameo
EDIT:After hearing back from the manufacturer of the frame again they worked with me to give me a warranty on the broken frame and sent the newest model. They sent it with a different software that they said has less problems so hoping for the best as we’ve really enjoyed having this in our home. Only giving 4 stars because it was a little bit of a hassle trying to fix the old one and that it would break that easily in 1 year but customer service was 5 stars to get a replacement. Disappointed mostly with Frameo software as I had given these as gifts and now need to use different softwares to download picturesWorked great for about little less than a year then got stuck on a loading screeen and hasn’t worked since. Frame company says it s the softwares fault and software company says it’s the frames fault, no way to restart other than unplugging overnight. Save your money and buy one that actually works and doesn’t use a scapegoat to avoid responsibility!

**update to my previous 2 star review (which is still below). The seller got in touch and helped to resolve the issues I was experiencing. Very pleased with the great customer service from this brand! **It’s a nice looking frame, and the photos show up vibrant and clear. Photo loading from the app is super simple. HOWEVER I’ve had nothing but issues since trying to set this up. There’s a totally “dead” spot on the touch screen. Nothing works in that area. It glitches constantly: The photos will randomly freeze until you manually scroll to the next. The settings bar along the bottom will flash non stop. If you try to click one of the settings buttons it works for a split second and then exits you. It takes forever for the sideshow to start back up if you go back to the home screen. Etc etcIt can be quite frustrating.I’d honestly say spend your money on a different brand, unless these problems dont bother you. In which case, as mentioned, it is a beautiful way to display photos (when it’s working).
