Troubleshooting network connection issues:
(1) The doorbell camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-fi. Please connect it to a 2.4GHz network.
(2) Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
(3) Verify the distance between the camera and the Wi-fi router; the camera should be within 33 feet (10 meters) of the router
(4) Please enable Bluetooth on your phone, but you don’t need to connect Bluetooth with the device, just ensure the Bluetooth is on.
(5) If you changed your Wi-Fi password, or your camera got disconnected, please reset the Wi-fi connection with the camera:
Press and hold the ring button until the camera was reset, and then add the camera again back to the same App account.

Stops working won’t charge
Completely stopped working after having it for 30 days it won’t charge it’s a complete waste of money!! And now that it’s been 30 days it can’t get returned so I just have all the aimless camera that don’t work absolutely ridiculous

Unbelievable! The picture quality and clarity on the camera is amazing. Better than any cameras I have and have used. Dope product for price
So didn’t learn how to turn it off lol it kept talkin once I turned it on until I set it up. They have you pay 30 every couple of months to use the cloud. Pretty good price honestly. Picks up sound well and has diff levels of monitoring which in turn uses the battery less or more.

Ok I didn’t even mean to set this up at the time. I really really had to pee and didn’t want to get all involved trying to figure this thing out.I had hit a couple of buttons and pulled the battery tab. And the next thing I knew, I was up and running! Other than putting in my WiFi password I really don’t even know what I did. I was just pushing buttons. So pretty easy to set up.It has a pretty clear display. So nice that these things are affordable for a little protection luxury around your place. I’m not using mine as a doorbell but more so as an eye for the front of my home.Only issue is I get a glare at night because the ring cam is behind my glass screen door. I researched if you can turn off… oh my gosh I just forgot. But if you can turn something off that, that could remedy the issue. I’ll keep researching on that or maybe just have it outside the door more so as it was intended. Oh and I wish it had a few more picture options, a way to kinda tilt the camera up, down, left or right. More settings, etc. Just a few more bells and whistles to modify things the way you’d like it but maybe that’s too much to ask for at this price point.Nice item nonetheless.

No motion detection for me
This camera does not detect motion for me… I wave my hand if front of it and nothing.. when watching it live the sounds come in late so not sure how safe it is to trust this if it wont even catch the mailman passing in front or us leaving the house. But picture is good. The range of view is smaller than my other camera at least with that one I could see my next door neighbors house

It’s a good doorbell cam for the price, I’m only rating 4 star is because there is a subscription you gotta pay for if you want playbacks and to save clips & it’s kinda expensive in my opinion, but other then that I can check my front area at any time I want and have motion alert as well & also has night vision with it , overall it a good doorbell cam
