Smooth software, great picture quality, impressive keystone!
Amazing picture quality. Love the auto adjustment of the screen, I think it’s called Keystone. The software runs very smooth and loads very quick! I also plugged in a Chromecast dongle, the remote that’s included also manages my chromecast, so no need to fumble around with multiple remotes. It’s whisper quiet in operation and the built-in sound quality is also really good for built-in speakers! Pretty impressive!

So far I’m truly impressed with this projector. I wanted to use it mainly outdoor, so having a good amount of lumens was a key factor. (please note, it’s important that it is listed as ANSI lumens, otherwise each vendor can claim anything, whereas ANSI is standardized.)I wanted to use late afternoon/evenings (not during the day), and this worked great even with some light outside. It was very easy to set up.The auto focus is a very nice function, but it also gives different controls to adjust the screen.

This projector turned my living room into a cinema without taking much space. The picture is bright and clean in the evening, and colours look surprisingly vivid for something this small. I connected a TV stick, my laptop, and a phone, and everything worked straight away. The Bluetooth feature is useful because I can link a speaker to boost the sound when watching films. I also appreciated the zoom function, since I can adjust screen size without moving the projector around every time. The fan is quiet enough not to spoil the film and it runs cool. It has become a fun way to watch movies on a big screen without going out, and it is easy to pack for trips or garden nights.

I am so glad we picked up this projector to replace our burnt one. Wow this thing is awesome!Set up was super easy! Once I had the batteries in the remote, power and HDMI plugged into the AppleTV, I turned it on and the projector went straight to auto focus. Then I played with the picture settings to angle it properly to our ceiling over our bed. I think in total the picture adjustments took about 10 minutes. You can adjust point placement and side length for the keystone adjustment. A quick power down and back on allowed it to auto focus for a second time to make sure everything was balanced after the keystone, and the picture looks perfect.Like I mentioned I have this set up for above our bed with it on our nightstand. It is pointed upwards from the base at about 80 degrees and tilted to the left about 70 degrees. Colour looks really well balanced out of the box, but there are plenty of adjustments available in the picture settings.The projector comes pre installed with YouTube and Netflix, but I preferred using my 4K AppleTV. With a 4K HDMI cable I am getting a consistent 2k video feed with HDR. There is zero latency from audio and video, and the picture is smooth and clear. It’s really impressive how far we have come with projector technology over the past 10 years.The sound for audio from the projector is also really good. It is no where near home theatre system quality, but does have pretty good lows and mid. There is also no latency issues between the audio and video, even though there are options available to correct for this.Overall I’m really blown away with how easily portable and how high quality this projector is. You don’t need an external connection to get YouTube and Netflix, because they are already on it. It has been a perfect addition and replacement to our old system!

The built-in stand is great. It is large and sturdy. Whereas traditional projectors would require something else to tilt or prop it up, the stand takes care of that and makes it easier to get the projection to the desired position.I like that this has auto focus. You can move and adjust its position, and it would refocus the screen to the best resolution. The refocusing is quick, and works every time.The screen has a wide resolution. It offers a good size even when placed close to the wall. It doesn’t need a really big room to get a good viewing experience.This projector is clear even during daytime. It is easy to see with good resolution and colours. It doesn’t need darkness, which is a negative with some of the cheaper projector options.This has an operating system, so it can be used without plugging a device in. It has the three main video viewing platforms (Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime) pre-installed. There is an app store as well, but while there is a lot to choose from, it doesn’t have any of the mainstream apps.A useful feature is the ability to screen cast. I was able to broadcast my phone’s screen directly to the projector.There is a web browser as well, though it is very hard to use and navigate a website. It’s available, but it is not something that I would use too often.The sound of the device is decent. It does have a 3.5mm jack, but it is not necessary. It is more than good enough for regular use.Overall this is a high quality projector. It has a screen quality that would rival a tv, and is able to offer the size without being very expensive. It comes with hdmi and usb ports so that it can plug into computers or consoles, but it also has that operating system that lets you stream directly.This is very impressive.Five stars.

All I can say is “wow”, this projector completely exceeded any expectation I had for it. Taking it out of the box and looking at the size of it, I wasn’t overly impressed, but that first judgement proved to be quite wrong.Initial setup is a snap – once you’ve assigned your Wi-Fi network, the device does a firmware update and then you’re ready for business.The projector takes care of autofocus and keystone adjustment, then delivers you to the main menu offering Netflix, Prime, YouTube and other viewing options. What? You want to hook up a Roku or other HDMI connected device? No problem, the projector has two HDMI ports in the back. How about watching content from a flash or portable hard drive? You’ve got two USB-A ports. Still love DVD’s? Hook your player up to the AV input.Picture quality is very good, with crisp detail and strong colours (all of which can be adjusted to personal preferences). The built-in speaker produces acceptable audio, though you also have the choice of using a 3.5mm jack for headphones or for running a cable to a receiver, or you can connect to a Bluetooth speaker (through which I’m experiencing no audio latency – yeah!!).Sure, the fan does produce a degree of white noise while the projector is running, but you’ll soon tune it out as you focus on what you’re watching.Looking for quality picture and sound from a deceptively small projector? This AuKing is more than capable of doing the job.

This was meant to be for the tripod stand, however what arrived was the tripod stand as well as the associated projector which was a nice addition.The tripod stand is nice and sturdy and easy to setup. For the need for me to use action cameras on it was really good and stable.The tripod provided also supports well the projector which is quite hefty, but allows for good support. I decided to use a proper camera tripod and also used a light stand and both supported the projector well.Connecting the projector via mobile screen casting and also directly via cable on the mobile or computer was easy to setup and projecting the image on my white screen was good.On the projector is a focus wheel as well as an angle skew corrector wheel which is good if your projector has to be angled and hence the image can be corrected for your flat screen.Colour of the image is decent albeit it would be nice to be able to increase the brightness and colours, however compared to other projectors the image is decent and it does help if you are viewing in a dark room.Sound wise, the onboard speakers are not very good and tinny, so it is best to play the audio through your mobile if it has good speakers or use a set of plug in speakers or use headphones.The projector does make a fair fan noise to keep it cool, so having good speakers is required.Included is a remote as well as various connectivity cables.Overall very happy with the outcome and what was provided vs just initially requesting the tripod.
