So far it works great.
I’ve had it a week, and so far it’s been great. My truck seems like a whole different animal now. It’s hard to believe it drives so much different, without AFM. I can’t comment on mileage, because I don’t care about it, I just need the gas gauge to work, because I’ll always need gas lol. 2018 GMC Sierra 4WD with the 6.2

Very pleased
Works great don’t even know it’s there the engine uses all eight cylinders all time just as a V8 should. No check engine light, no battery drain. Plug it in and forget it. Blue lights on the unit flicker on and off, I don’t know what they mean and I don’t care.

Good choice
I ordered to prevent 4 cylinder from activating. Device does just that. I also have the three lights on the device. It keeps 2017 Silverado 5.3 in v8 mode. I haven’t really noticed a reduction in mpg. It does prevent onstar from doing monthly diagnostic report. Just unplug it the day before you usually get the report and it’ll send Diagnostics report. Other than that i keep plugged in. I had to travel for 4 days and unplugged the device to prevent battery drain while it was sitting. Maybe coincedence… but after 2 months of use my battery died. Not 100% sure if device impacted it but i want to share my experience. I will continue to use as it’s a big difference not feeling the change over from 4 to 8 cylinder. For the cost and quality, it’s worth it compared to others that cost more.

2010 supercharged Camaro SS
Day 1 with this device and so far it has worked flawlessly. Just plugged it in, the left light flashed a few times, then the right most light went steady state, no more annoying afm turning on and off when putting through my neighborhood, or at a steady cruise. In my case it made a huge difference. AFM kicking on and off jarred the car, added obnoxious drone, and added lag when stabbing the throttle a bit due to AFM needing a moment to turn off and then the transmission to kick down. Just didn’t feel right at all when cruising around and throttle input could be varied often. This car has a custom tune for a morguson supercharger, headers, high flow cats, full exhaust and this device so far works like it should and doesn’t appear to have messed with anything else in the tune. (Bought the car this way, previous owner left AFM enabled.)I will still do a cam swap to get rid of the AFM lifters, but this made it more enjoyable until I can make that happen at a fraction of the cost of other recommended options.Also the unit comes in packaging that I feel is easily returnable, and resellable, if it didn’t work for your application. The unit I received could have been bought and returned multiple times but in this case I see it as a plus.In my application the lights face straight down so don’t bother me at night, and I have seen posts about how other brand devices would hit you in the shin requiring a cable adapter to relocate it, I am 6’1″ and 200#’s, this device doesn’t get in my way at all.Hopefully this holds up to time, I will update if I run into any problems.

Quit working after 6 weeks, overpriced cheap junk
Worked very well for roughly 6 weeks then it no longer lit up or disabled my active fuel management one day….paid almost $90 for absolute garbage. I plugged it in before each use and unplugged it each time I turned my truck off, following the manufactures directions perfectly. I can’t return it to Amazon because it’s been over 30 days & I can’t get a hold of the seller. Don’t buy this brand AFM delete from anyone. Period. Very disappointed, I will not buy a replacement from here (which is now half the price I paid a couple months ago. Complete rip-off, definitely not made to last much beyond the bs warranty. On the verge of being a scam, do yourself a favor & stay away

An absolute must for GM’s with 5.3 variable displacement!
I have used it for almost 2 years. Does everything it says. Cut oil consumption and actually improved mileage slightly, even if always in v-8 mode. Recommended to friend when he bought a used Chevy 5.3 pickup. Same results ffor him. If you have a’07 and up 5.3l GM vehicle, this is a must.

First thing is the price, I just couldn’t bring myself to pay more than $300 for the Range unit. Just wasn’t worth it to me. However, at this price point of $62, it is a no brainer.Works great, truck feels smoother, overall better than it did with AFM turned on.I recommend that you also purchase the cable with an on/off switch to cut the power when the engine isn’t running. Compatible With 2018 GMC Seirra 1500, works great. just plug it in, the V4 turned off now full time V8. NO more kicking in and out between the two, It also doesnt draw any power once the vehicle is turned off. 10/10 recommend. 2 months in still going great, give you an update in the future!
