I bought these BENGOO G9000 headphones from my nephew because he is the one that damages the hearing aids the most and also uses them a lot to play on the Xbox. The truth surprised me for the better. The 7.1 surround sound is heard super clear and the microphone works very well, so his friends hear it without noise or interference. Earmuffs are soft and comfortable, so he can play for hours without being disturbed. It also brings LED lights that look very flashy when it is playing. The good news is that they can be used on multiple consoles and on the PC, so they are good for everything. So far they have endured very well, and he uses them a lot. For the price and quality, I feel it was a very good purchase and I highly recommend them if they are looking for something comfortable, resistant and with good gaming sound.

3.5 years of awesome
3 Year ReviewI’ve had these headphones for 3.5 years, and have loved and cherished every moment with them. They’ve come with me on moves across the country, and have held up spectacularly.The sound quality is fantastic, and even during long gaming sessions, (8+ hours) playing Baldurs Gate, they stayed comfortable and soft on my ears, and top of my head. I have somewhat sensitive ears, and many over ear headphones will hurt the inside edges and ridges of my ear, where here this is not a problem.After crossing the country, and getting some 2,000 hours of use, being a perfect companion during late nights, and while I only had a monitor that had no speakers, the only issues I’m finding are the headphones jack, where it wires in, is starting to fray, and droop down. The other is the blue coating on the foam is coming off, and it will find its way in to my hair, or on my floor. Both minor, both have only started in the past 3 months.I would not hesitate to buy these again. The price point is excellent, and the quality you get for that price, far exceeds the monetary value. Pick these up if you want something exceptional without breaking the bank.

Great sound, bad mic
Cheap headset, mixed feelings about it.It looks great, sounds great and is comfortable to wear.Unfortunately both I and a friend had trouble with the mic. One is really low in volume and mine was really scratchy.I wanted to keep it because it was cheap and sounded great but ultimately it had to go due to the mic issues.

Sound QualityThe sound quality of the headphone is good for the money, I would say for the price, I’ve rated it 5*. The bass is good and rich, I found them superior to in-ear headphones, which were used before these. Sound is clear, no hiss or distortion experienced.MicrophoneWhile not able to easily experience my voice at the other end of a chat, I have had no complaints about distorted sound, I can be heard well and clearly enough to chat and collaborate during gaming sessions. Having an adjustable arm for the microphone is handy to keep it out of the way while not in use.Noise cancellingWhen not active noise cancelling, they cover the ear nicely which blocks out a good deal of background noise.ComfortThe headphones adjust to a range of sizes, the padding on the over ear speakers is comfortable and can be worn for several hours while gaming, the over ear design helps to block noise helping to immerse yourself in the game.ConnectionsThere are two connections, the 3.5mm jack plug and the USB plug, the USB plug is only there to power the lights in the headphones, however the 3.5mm jack plug is essential for compatibility across my laptop and Nintendo switch. It would be nice if the sound carried over both the USB & the 3.5mm jack plug, but this is a minor point.OverallVery happy with these headphones, for the money the sound quality is very good, it is ideally setup for gaming. The built-in mic does the job well and allows me to communicate with our players well. The lights are a bonus, but don’t really affect the performance of the headphones, does look good in the dark though. I would say they don’t quite have the depth and range for purely listening to music, for which I have separate headphones. But for action gaming they are ideal.
