Great for serious beginners who what to learn
Great book lots of information and plenty of pictures which make it fun to read the look at the pic and see what they mean. Perfect for a newbie like me..

Great book to have.
Great book to have if you are into drones and want to build one.
Lance A Holmes –
Little dated.
The concept and book are well written, but it’s about 10 years old now and drone technology has changed. Consider an updated edition of a book on the subject.
Frank Gardner –

Topic is Great
Book is probably great, but I didn’t read it Amazon failed me on this one, sending what felt like a slight beatup book as new. So I returned it.

Drone Instructional Guide
As a new drone owner, this book offered some very helpful advice. I have not read the entire book yet. I would recommend it for new drone owners.

Not a step-by-step guide…
A very shallow read. Does NOT actually show you step by step to build a drone. Save your money, do not buy if you are looking to build your own drone.

Feels outdated, and too much fuss and too much text for things that can be explained in a few sentences. Didn’t help me more than reading a couple of blogs, or watching a 30 min tutorial on youtube. Maybe useful for little kids, but it is not even written with that audience in mind. Also, it gets sent form the USA, which was a moral conundrum.

I knew very little about drones before reading this book. This book doesn’t just give instruction on how to build a drone. It covers everything you are likely to need to know to build, buy a drone whether from a kit, part kit or pre-built. It is a good book to read if you are thinking of building a drone or buying your first. I am sure it will offer something for people of all levels and knowledge regarding drones

This book is a must have if you are interested in building your own drone, or even just wanting to understand how drones work. It is full of diagrams, colour photos etc. Excellently written and professionally printed.
Marco Dominguez –
Great to learn from the perspective of someone who knows about military issues. It is quite a different point of view from those who started using drones merely as a hobby. The conclusion of either approach is the same. The book is very complete!
