It’s worth doing right the first time!
It’s a good product! We got this for our above ground cellar, and it has kept the temperature in the right range. The important things to keep in mind when doing something like this, are quality of insulation for the room, and being sure to get an AC unit that is a compatible BTU for the size of your space. There are other brands that technically could work that are cheaper, but ultimately the value for the money is better, because it comes with detailed instructions on all of the setup and planning. My advice is to start with the Coolbot, and plan your cooler accordingly around the Coolbot. The website will pretty much plan your whole project for you. Don’t do what we did and waste a whole lot of time and money TRYING to do it the cheap way.

Works extremely well.
So I take my air conditioning very seriously. I’ve had heat strokes and I have fibrosis so I don’t do heat or humidity very well at all. I installed this very easily and within 10 minutes my room was at 40. It goes lower but no need. I can now use my spin cycle without getting sick and I can leave it at 50 and it’s perfect. It hasn’t failed me yet.

Unit works excellent in our homemade walk-in cooler!! Let’s us hang our pork and game until we have time to process it. Would recommend to any home butcher. We have a cooler that can hang 6 pigs comfortably.

Installed for our deer/pig hanging cooler. Was super easy to install. Brought the temps down quickly to the ideal hanging temperature. It’s been a relief knowing we have this now, in case we get our deer earlier in bow season & it’s 20C outside lol Fabulous product!!
