Important Notice: Check that the car cigarette lighter is on constant power source before use. Plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter, turn off the car and if the camera screen is on, you have constant power to the cigarette lighter. To prevent the Ecomoment car camera from draining your car’s power supply, it will be necessary to manually turn off the dash camera or use the hardwire kit (ASIN: B0D93KLNJR).

Will the camera continue to consume the car’s battery after the engine is turned off?

Very happy with this dash cam
I’ve been using this dash cam for a few weeks and it’s been great. The video quality is super clear, both during the day and at night, and the rear camera gives a nice wide view that helps a lot when backing up or parking.Setup was simple and the app connected to Wi-Fi right away. The little screen is easy to read and perfect for quick checks. I also appreciate that it comes with a 32GB card, so I didn’t have to buy one separately.The parking mode and G-sensor make me feel a lot safer knowing it will record if something happens when my car is parked.
