Great quality cam for a reasonable price
The item is compact and works great, the video quality is actually really nice and the dash cam is fairly affordable. It was super easy to set up and the app, while a bit tedious at times, works well enough. I did have to reach out to the team’s support page due to an issue I personally had, but they were quick to respond and solve my issue. I would definitely buy this cam again.

Great little camera
I really like the picture and video quality of this camera. It performs well both day and night. The only drawback is the glare when the sun hits it directly, but that’s hard to avoid. I appreciate that it’s small and stays out of the driver’s view—I mounted mine behind the front mirror, and it adhered securely. The included brackets for organizing the wires were a nice touch, and setup was easy. I had no trouble hiding the wiring and keeping things neat.The one major downside is that to view videos and photos, you need to connect your phone to the camera’s internal Wi-Fi using an app. You can only view the footage when connected to the camera’s Wi-Fi, meaning you have to be in your car with it in accessory mode. I wish it were possible to access the images through the app from anywhere. Additionally, a separate wiring kit is required to enable parking and motion detection features.Overall, I do like this camera and will eventually get the rearview camera as well.

Compact, Does The Job Well
Had to replace my old dashcam and got this because of its small size. It is easy to set up, takes very good videos, and so far has not disappointed me in any way. I unpacked it from the box, briefly looked through the instruction booklet, and quickly installed it on my windshield with the included sticky pad. The plug fit right into my cigarette lighter outlet with no issues. It even comes with wire clips to help keep the wire out of sight and secured to the windshield frame. I did not use the app, so when I need to check the videos, I just remove the mini SD card and stick it in my tablet to view. The camera has a wide enough view to capture the area in front of my car and down the road. It does not come with the mini SD card, so I got one that is the maximum capacity as recommended by the instruction booklet. 128 gb. Night videos are good enough so you can read license plate numbers, etc. My old dashcam lasted 4 years, so I am hoping this one will do the same. Excellent Value for the price!

The App Needs To Be Updated/Fixed Badly
Everything about the camera is good and fine. It records video no problem and it’s clear. But what good is that if you can’t easily access the footage…The app is super slow, both on wifi and on my normal cellular data in a place I get good service and the footage won’t load. It also records in 3 minute increments so it’s harder to check back something if you wanted after you drive. If it just kept recording the whole way through, it would be easier to go and find something that for example happened in the middle of your drive. The footage also doesn’t stay downloaded on your phone automatically so you can’t view it away from the actual dashcam and your car. Also say you have a ton of footage you don’t need, you have to go each clip 1 by 1 to delete them, instead of a ‘select all’ or select certain clips option. I have a feeling this would let me down say something happened, and I can’t get the footage on the fly. It feels like you’re using some very low effort and under developed app. If they update the app to be more accommodative and actually useful, I would give a 5 star.

Its quality and performance far exceed expectations for its price, even compared to more expensive options.

La dashcam che cercavo doveva avere una risoluzione di almeno 2k, il Wi-Fi, essere sufficientemente discreta da non dare troppo nell’occhio, dotata di un super condensatore e non di batteria al litio (che, viste le temperature interne dell’auto anche da ferma, avrebbe vita breve), dell’opzione GPS per la localizzazione, ed infine… adeguarsi al mio budget. La scelta (ristretta) è caduta inevitabilmente su questa A1 della Avylet, per l’ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo ed anche per via delle ottime recensioni reperite in rete. La dashcam è arrivata molto rapidamente, e la dotazione di accessori è eccellente, anche se la microsd (preferibilmente in classe 10) va acquistata a parte. Un piccolo appunto per lo spinotto accendisigari, che non essendo dotato di presa passante (thru) costringe all’uso di uno sdoppiatore per eventuali caricabatterie telefonici, io sono ricorso ad un cavo usb-c da 3m da collegare ad un charger accendisigari con due uscite. Il basso ingombro della dashcam ne consente un’installazione non in vista, dietro il retrovisore interno, dunque senza pregiudicare la visuale del guidatore e senza dare molto nell’occhio all’esterno. Il modulo GPS mi sta arrivando, è davvero minuscolo, e si connette con un jack coassiale sullo stesso,lato destro della porta usb-c. Interessante la pellicola antistatica da posare nella zona di collocazione, in quanto assicura un’ottima tenuta del biadesivo. L’app è minimalista ma efficiente, e richiede registrazione; a differenza di altri oggetti analoghi, i comandi locali si riducono a soli quattro tasti multifunzione, piccoli e con un buon feedback, ma la presenza del Wi-Fi consente di eseguire tutte le operazioni principali da smartphone, compresa visualizzazione e salvataggio dei filmati. Non dovendola installare sulla mia vettura (è un regalo, mi riservo un aggiornamento a breve) al momento le mie valutazioni non comprendono la “prova su strada”, ma eseguendo dei test in casa in varie condizioni di luce le immagini si sono rivelate molto soddisfacenti, la cam non è troppo “plasticosa” e nonostante il costo abbordabile dà una certa sensazione di professionalità. Per evitare di intervenire sull’impianto elettrico dell’auto o prelevare la tensione dalla presa diagnosi ODB-II ho deciso di rinunciare alla modalità parcheggio, ma penso di collegare la dashcam ad un piccolo data-bank, in carica a quadro acceso da presa accendisigari: visto il consumo irrisorio, la cam continuerebbe a funzionare in modalità standard ancora per molte ore, anche a vettura ferma. In tal senso, un consiglio: tenete spento il display (peraltro con un’ottima risoluzione e molto luminoso) durante la marcia, sia perché la cam riscalda leggermente, sia perché verosimilmente non sarà visibile dietro il retrovisore, sia perché l’attenzione va concentrata sulla strada. Aggiornerò questa recensione una volta eseguita un’installazione stabile in auto, ma al momento assegno 5 stelle, che sono certo confermerò una volta testata alla guida. Si tratta davvero di un bell’oggetto e le premesse ci sono tutte. Peccato solo che il giorno dopo l’acquisto il prezzo sia sceso di oltre 10 euro…
