This thing is amazing!!
After a rigorous hindus debacle, I have finally ordered the correct thermostat compatible with my HVAC system. No need to have on tech or a pro HVAC. Install this thermostat. I had this thing up and running in about 15 minutes. Very sleek. Lovely design. And trust me, I tried three different ones before I found this one. If you have a four-wire setup you definitely want a 3rd gen or higher.Stay away from the nest e model you truly need a pro to install. I lucked out and found more wiring which turned out to be my c wire or common wire. But with this puppy you don’t even need that. I have pretty much a Google home if you will. This is just the perfect addition for it. Not to mention it’s going to save money in the long run and pay for itself. Very very happy with this product. We’ll see how long it lasts. Couple months. I’ll give you an update.

Best thermostat on the market
We love the nest. It’s easy for us to lock in our rentals to keep the temperature at a good amount without it being abused. It’s also very handy for automating time when there’s no one at the rental or when there is a freeze gonna happen and we want to make sure that it’s plenty of warm at night. We love the User friendliness and the quality of the nest. Not all nest products are made equal. This one in particular is the best. Some of them are difficult and fluky to use. We like the dial that rotates around the outside this is our favorite version by far you won’t be disappointed.

Crappy experience
It works for some but when it doesn’t work for you it sucks! Bought this and it gave all kinds of issues:-Refused to stay connected to wifi even though modum was 2 ft away- the nest app refused to sync with nest and at no point was it ever found everytime you attempted to search it.The nest wouldn’t recognize wifi options after you restarted and reset it, even when you manually enter it along with password- reset multiple times / powered wifi off and on multiple times and nothing worked- it kept dying no matter how many time I plugged it into the independent cable left it over night and it began to die when you start to connect againHad to put my old battery thermostat which is doing 100% better than this supposed updated and advanced thermostat. Buy at your own risk low 👇

Beautiful design, needs improved software
Works well but keeps going into Eco mode and shutting off because it thinks I’m not home. A feature that should be a useful money saver has to be disabled.

Older model is the way to go sometimes!
Works great! We already have two in other zones, so this is our third. It was nice to be able to get the older model that matches the ones we have.

Easy to install; works flawlessly
Would recommend this product. The only minor issue was it uses micro usb to charge and no cable on box. I was luckily able to get a cable from game section of Best Buy under $10. Not sure if I ever need to recharge. Uses Nest phone app and can set temp remotely from phone. Easy to use and will pay for itself in lower electrical bills. Glad I purchased.

The best thermostat
I am not disappointed in anyway with this thermostat. This thing looks amazing and is super energy efficient. My bill dropped at least $50 because my heating and air is not running constantly when it doesn’t have to. I highly recommend everyone to buy this.

Good product but needs re-evaluatuon
Great product, just need to see how long it will last. It was a little flaky to install as it was co staly popping out when I initially tried to install it, once it got installed after multiple tries, it hasn’t popped out, hopefully it will stay on. I like the better bigger size on the screen.
