Control your temperature from your chair!
When you want easy, smart control of your thermometer then this is the one I recommend. Easy to install, easy to setup to your phone with the app, easy to control with Alexa, lots of support online. Looks good on the wall and functions perfectly. Other than the battery life of the provide battery, everything else has been great.

Very easy to install and integrate, even without instructions
I purchased this Nest device to replace my existing programmable thermostat. This was an Amazon renewed item and as such I knew that it may not have all the OEM items. It arrived without printed instructions, but if you have installed one thermostat you have basically installed them all. I also got the back plate for it. Took about 10 minutes to install and have the thermostat integrated onto my WiFi. Just for giggles I went online and took a look at the instructions. They are by far the best and most complete set of directions I have seen in a long time. Thats why the 5 stars on Tech Support. Not a real fan of the mirrored finish, buy cheap and you don’t get to pick. Works very well on the Home App, not so much on the touch controls. I spent a lot of time looking at various brands and models, happy I landed on this one.

I’ve got these in my home am able to control and monitor both ends of house. Set up with Alexa which allows my mother in law to tell the system to change temperature. Great little feature especially for the elderly. The display is bright and large for her to see from a distance. My wife and I use the app to control. Would definitely by again. Plus the rebate from power company make this a no brainer.

The air handler fan magically came on even though my HVAC compressor was not hooked up. That’s no big deal, but I couldn’t turn it on. Its only option was to change the time the fan runs. 15 minutes was the least amount of time. But somehow it ran for hours before it shut off.My last house had these, but a professional HVAC technician installed them. I couldn’t do it myself, and I’m pretty handy.

Does NOT connect to Nest app
This thermostat will not integrate with the Nest App, very disappointing. When you try to install this device you are directed to the Google home app. My goal was to have all of my Nest devices available in one app. This unfortunately is not an option.Its a Google/Next product so it works fine, easy to set up, if you use the correct app, just wish it was more clear that “smart thermostats” are not compatible with app using “learning thermostats”.

Came in original packaging and appears brand new. However it looses one star because it had not been reset to factory defaults which resulted in hours long installation process over two days. The factory reset process was not that intuitive to me even though I have an electrical engineering degree. I was probably mislead by a couple of UTube videos based on an earlier software version on how to reset to factory defaults, but once I performed a factory reset all installation issues disappeared and the installation/configuration completed in minutes. It was giving me an error message that I had no red wire, even though I did, and it was setting the heat temperature even though it is controlling an AC only ducted system. Long story short, as soon as I figured out how to reset the thermostat back to factory defaults, the error message regarding the missing red wire went away, it recognized that the set temperature was for cooling and l was able to finally complete the configuration and I have a brand new looking pretty neat thermostat.

Advert says C wire not needed but Google Support tells me it won’t work. Without a C wire. Couldn’t get it to work at alll.
