Very happy with purchase and IROBOT customer service
This is the updated version from my 2nd generation one. Love the empty its self trash can. This version cleans more in straight lines so it doesn’t seem to miss anything. I have not used mopping feature on this one. 2 years ago i bought newest model for three family members as gifts and they absolutely loved it.This model replaced my 2nd generation model. I had it for a few months 8 months to be exact. And all of a sudden it would only spin in circles. I called IRobot no hassles, no inconvenience they shipped me out a brand new one. No charge until broke one was shipped back. Just shipped brand new one with return label for defective one.IRobot is good company and seems to stand by their products.

Good Vacuum; Terrible Robot
Bottom Line Up Front: The vacuum cleans well, but the software is ROUGH. I would not recommend for large or complicated floor plans. If you keep it confined to one room (with physical barriers) it would probably work okay.This is not the first robotic vacuum that I’ve had and not the first Roomba. My experience with the other vacuums led me to believe that any vacuum would have trouble with a complicated floor plan, but after reading about the Smart Mapping feature of this robot (and the ability to name rooms and send the robot to a specific room), I decided to give the Roomba i5+ a try.Assembling the robot was relatively easy. The base is pretty large (and not very pretty) and we had a little trouble finding a good place to set it, but we settled on an interior room in the center of our house. After letting the battery fully charge, we sent the robot out on a mapping run. 9 hours later, the mapping run failed.The next day, we sent it on another mapping run. This time the run failed after 7 hours. At this point, we gave up on mapping and just said “clean everything”. This run was mostly successful, but still took about 7 hours to complete. (I should state that our house is an old farm house. The ground floor is about 1800 square feet and there are a few rooms with multiple doorways). The floors were noticeably cleaner after running, so the cleaning power is good. Also, the self-emptying worked great — even without a successful mapping run, the Roomba was able to find its way back to base and charge and empty.A few days later, we tried another mapping run and this time after about 4 hours, the run was successful. We finally had a Smart Map. We went through and named rooms, then sent the robot to clean a particular room. From this point on, there were zero runs in the “History” section of the app that were successful. In many cases, the robot completed a run, but did not log anything in the history section, so I can’t see what it really did. In other cases, the robot failed its run.Overall, I like the concept, and the cleaning power is good. But I feel like I’m doing way too much work to get this thing working — this was supposed to save me time, but it would have been faster and better to vacuum by hand.UPDATE:Lowering the rating to 1 star. I have owned this robot now for 3 full months and it has only ever successfully ran a scheduled “mission” twice. I spend more time troubleshooting this robot than it would take to vacuum my house in a given week.

I had an older model irobot I belive 900 series bought in 2017. Anyway there’s really only a few differences which I’m happy about but a little bummed bc I expected I bigger leap of improvement.1000% love the self emptying!! And I can not express this enough. My old one did not have this feature and if ran while I wasn’t home and the bin got full it wasn’t able to finish the whole job. Now this is not a problem. Plus after awhile I just got lazy or forgot to empty the bin so it wouldn’t run on its schedule. Now not an issue.This new device is way quieter! It’s still noisy but compared to the older model 100% better.I’ve only done the mop setting once and I wanst particularly impressed with it. I’ve only done it once due to having a large rug in my living room and the robot just wants to get up on it and I don’t have the barriers purchased to keep it off. But I have epoxy concrete floors and I just didn’t care for the mop job it did. It says for a wetter mop to wet the pad first but I was just giving it a try out and decided to not wet it first and the wet spots left on the floor were not solid, just like some little lines of wetness.Overall it gets my floors vacuumed for me when I have other things to do so I would say it works well. I have about 1500sf of space it has to get just in the main living and kitchen area. It does need to charge before finishing all of it. It does seem to go over some areas multiple times for no reason and it gets stuck under my coffee table every single time it runs. So I’m not sure if the smart part about it works on this one lol.

I’ve been using the iRobot Roomba Combo i5+ for a little while now…First off, the design is pretty sleek and compact. It’s small enough to slide under most furniture and reach spots that are usually hard to clean with a regular vacuum. That’s been a big help in keeping dust bunnies at bay in those tricky corners.What really sets this model apart for me is the dual functionality — it vacuums and mops. I like that I can switch between vacuuming and mopping depending on what the floor needs. The interchangeable bins make this pretty straightforward. The vacuum does a solid job picking up dust and pet hair, while the mop function gives my floors a decent wipe-down, which is great for everyday maintenance. Just don’t expect it to replace a deep mop job when there’s serious grime.One of the features I appreciate most is automatic dirt disposal. The robot empties itself into a sealed bag that can hold up to 60 days’ worth of dirt, so I’m not constantly emptying it after every use. It is super convenient.It’s also impressively quiet compared to my old vacuum. I can run it while working or watching TV without being distracted by loud noise. That’s a big plus if you have pets or kids.Of course, no product is perfect. I’ve noticed that the mop sometimes leaves streaks if the floor is too dirty or sticky, so I still have to do occasional manual mopping. I don’t know what is the customer segment for such a product, but this was not for me.Doesn’t pick up hairs, granola or rice from the hard floor. Triangle brush got stuck in the wheel itself and entangled all hairs in it. Mopping is a nightmare, does not work at all. After seeing the hardwood performance, I don’t think it can work anything at all on the carpet. Returned in 3 days.

No cumple con la descripción, envió un producto que únicamente aspira, por si eso fuera poco, para devolverlo me hicieron pagar el envío el cual costó $2650 pesos mexicanos, el cual me dijeron en llamada telefónica que me reembolsaría de manera inmediata al enviar el comprobante del gasto, sin embargo, al enviarlo me respondieron con un correo mencionando sus políticas de reembolso mismo que puede tardar hasta 35 días posteriores a la llegada del producto devuelto, cosa que me parece insultante ya que el error no es atribuible a mi persona, por lo pronto ya pague más de $10,000 pesos mexicanos y no tengo ni el producto ni el dinero, PÉSIMA ATENCIÓN POST-VENTA para solventar errores de AMAZON, PROVEDORES Y GENTE DE LOGÍSTICA.
