    Hands on learning solar project
This kit is an excellent value and teaches you far more than just “solar tracking.”The setup was surprisingly easy. The components are well-packaged, the instructions are clear, and the whole thing comes together quickly. You don’t need prior experience, just a willingness to follow the guide.Where this kit shines is the education. You learn programming with Arduino by seeing how code translates directly to physical movement. Plus, you get hands-on experience with several sensors: the light-dependent resistors (LDRs) that drive the tracking, as well as an included DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor for extra projects. It’s an impressive, all-in-one package that covers mechanics, circuitry, and coding. Worth the price for anyone wanting a deep dive into practical, sensor-based electronics.

    FUN project 🙂
Had great fun putting this together. No major issues, but a few minor ones. The orientation of the second plate (peripheral) sorta matters. Didn’t notice it until it was already assembled and I was integrating the next platform. Not a real big deal, with some minor hacking it went together OK and worked.Other minor issue is that I seemed to get hardware from another project. Was missing some screws and had a bunch I could find no use for. Fortunately I have a goodly collection of screws so working it out wasn’t an issue.Overall, I’d recommend this project for fun, education and quite possibly usefulness. I had to live with the first two being on the north side of the building and getting maybe 5 minutes of sun at high summer :-)).Still it did work with what little we have when we have it :-).Get it, have fun and learn!!! I’m sure my bag of screws was a fluke.

Good value educational kit for high schoolers
This is a well made and well documented educational kit. An Arduino UNO equivalent with extra connectors is included. There are multiple lessons to test and gain familiarity with each component and a final lesson for the complete product. The documentation on how the components work is divided between the lessons, so recommend reading the user manual. There are FAQ and code examples. Device libraries are included, in case you cannot reach the standard Arduino libraries.

    Pretty cool
This was so fun to build. The instructions take a little getting used to, but they are followable. I would but this again.

Not all projects are Arduino IDE compatible…
A very interesting project, though not all of the lessons are compatible with the Arduino IDE.

    So Easy and Well Made!
Keyestudio knocks it out of the ballpark once again with this solar tracking kit.Keyestudio really goes the extra mile when it comes to their packaging, it is one of the many great benefits this kit provides over others that are similar. Each component and part is separated into its own packaging with clear indicators of what is in the bag, which corresponds to their instructions making assembly much easier! The kit itself is actually bigger than I thought it would be, with the solar panel about the same size as a cellphone, which can output a decent amount of power. The instructions included in the online Dropbox folder are very easy to use, and they even included a common problems PDF which is helpful. The code and all the needed software components are also in the Dropbox folder, so everything is all in one place. If you want to try out a really cool Arduino based sun or light tracking station, this one is recommended!

Most of the pieces were missing.
Missing a bunch of pieces, it does not include the battery, but some of the other pieces were missing unfortunately. To be exact, plastic pip, plastic string, servo, smart phone charging module, digital light intensity module, single channel push button, yellow led module, usb cable, solar charging module, passive buzzer, temperature and humidity sensor, battery holder and the servo mount kit. Thats like most of the kit.

A nice step up from a simple solderless breadboard at a reasonable price.
I am only a hobbyist interested in electronic projects and this kit caught my eye due to what I think is an attractive way of assembling circuits. I like the way it follows the “Lego” formula and comes with prewired modules that you mount on the provided plastic chassis. This way you can concentrate on what you want to learn or test (either programing or the use of sensors and devices) instead of wiring in a solderless breadboard.I recently received the kit and put it together and have not had a chance to test all the components but what I have tried has worked as it should. I’m already getting ideas for additional parts and modules that I wish the vender could offer as kits or by parts. The parts provided with this kit are just a step above a basic kit but provide enough material to do some learning and investigating.I do not recommend this kit for very young children without adult help. The vender has enough information on their website, but you have to look for it and the information could be a bit more explicit for English speakers.I want to mention that I contacted the vender with a question and got an answerer in a timely manner so that I feel that the vender stands behind their product and I will keep on buying from them.
