I’ve been using this laptop for years, my favorite thing about it is actually its overall design and quality. It’s not difficult to find a good value Chromebook, but I can effortlessly use this as a tablet when I’m just watching YouTube videos – or if I just want to use speech to text to work through some emails. It’s genuinely a very unique Chromebook and I wish that they would make a new version very, very similar to this one! They do have a newer model that’s smaller and I’m not a fan of its case. But this model to me is absolutely perfect.

The Little Computer That Could
This is a good little computer. I needed something quick to take on a work trip that would be strong enough for me to put my remote desktop on it and take my office with me. It did the trick. I have used it multiple times on trips, and it exceeded my expectations. Using a remote desktop can slow down a computer very quickly, but this one had no trouble keeping up. It was a great purchase for a great price.

I had to get a new chromebook as my HP one kept “switching” keys…every time I pressed a 3, I’d get a 6, and if I pressed a 6, I still got a 6!…and HP would NOT help solve the issue. This was the 3rd time I’ve had to replace an HP chromebook… So, when I needed to replace it, I wouldn’t even consider another HP. This one came up. It was newer and I was really hoping for better. To me it feels very “glitchy”. There’s a hesitation or “glitch” constantly, which I find irritating. The screen is ok, but nothing compared to the screen quality on my 17.7 laptop. Everything transferred seamlessly, and was up and running instantly. The things I did have problems with, I was able to resolve relatively fast. I do wish it ran smoother, but there’s not a lot of other options out there so I’ll probably end up keeping it. I haven’t thrown out the box yet though, so subconscientlly I must still be one the fence about it. The battery life is definitely good.

Perfect for my needs!
I had a different model of a Lenovo Chromebook before this one and loved it… unfortunately, it had a bad fall and became glitchy….hence, this new computer! I am SO happy with it so far! It definitely seems faster than the last one. It is slightly larger, which I initially didn’t want (I travel a lot), but now am glad for the difference. Items on the screen are so much easier to see; the resolution is wonderful; the keyboard is smoother; and all the functions I liked on the old Lenovo Chromebook are–happily–the same! The beauty of another Chromebook is that EVERYTHING transferred over from my Google account so seamlessly! Most impressive, to be sure… my ONLY “con” is that–despite what other people wrote to the contrary–the battery seems to go down in charge rather quickly…not faster than my previous computer, but certainly about the same. It IS possible that my usage takes more battery than the other people who were impressed with the battery’s life: I do a fair amount of video conferencing. In conclusion, considering the price point of this wonderful machine, one could not do better than this!

Great purchase
This Chromebook works well, and is extremely easy to use even if it is your first Chromebook. It is fast and holds a charge for over eight hours. I like the feel of the keyboard better than my hp Chromebook.

OK laptop, but deceptive description
Given the price, this is a pretty good chromebook. Light weight, good screen. Processor gets laggy when running apps and browser. I deducted one star due to the listing claiming in several instances that this laptop has a lighted keyboard, which it doesn’t. The seller knows this, but still keeps the description as is in order to deceive buyers. I deducted another star due to the lack of an additional USB-C port that would allow for connection to a display monitor AND charging the laptop at the same time. The picture of the product in the description clearly shows the laptop comes with a USB-C port extension box and an HDMI cable to solve this issue, but again, the seller deceives the buyer and doesn’t supply the port extension box or cables. I bought my own port extension box with HDMI output that works fine with other USB-C output laptops, but doesn’t work with this one. Buyer BEWARE of deceptive sellers!!!

The keyboard is rather ‘clunky’. No instructions to set-up but was very easy. Pity that no usb slots on right hand side.
