This ‘new’ pc is stuck in an infinite loop of rebooting due to memory failure.
I purchased this computer of an employee. Upon unboxing the computer, he said that the casing of the laptop looked like the computer had been opened at one point, since there was a 2mm gap where the clip on the shell of the laptop was not pressed in all the way. The PC is now stuck in an infinite loop of rebooting due to memory configuration. I’m assuming this new laptop was modded with higher memory, but was done so incorrectly.

Trusty laptop, great firmware support for alternative operating systems
I’ve used this for Windows, Linux, and BSD operating systems and have found the firmware support is on par. I find it a little strange that there are 2 USB-C sockets so close to each other which can make connections to multiple devices awkward, but otherwise everything is exactly as I expected.

Seems good, but information at Amazon is misleading.
I believe it’s a good computer; it takes time to really tell. But I chose this model because one of the features listed at Amazon is a 3 year Lenovo warranty. Apparently it has a one year Lenovo warranty and you must pay to get an extended warranty. It’s misleading to list a three year warranty as a feature and not disclose the fact that you must pay if over one year.
