I love it
I’ve owned an Oculus rift CV2, Quest 2, and now the Quest 3. I bought this to get the best wireless, consumer grade, game and experience orientated VR headset on the market and I would say it delivers.I personally never have any issues wearing VR headsets, such as motion sickness or fatigue and still have no issues with this. The display is crisp, adjustable, and relatively seamless. The display inside isn’t so large that anywhere my eyes land, I see screen, but if you’re looking forward for the most part it’s pretty immersive still. The controllers are easy to hold, easy to use, and just like all the other generations, feel relatively intuitive in virtual reality. Meta did away with the tracker rings on the controllers, which I thought were actually to protect hands from hitting objects, but apparently not. Regardless, they are smaller.I pretty much have no complaints. The pass-through camera which is now way higher resolution and full color, allows for pretty easy augmented reality experiences and real world navigation without lifting up the headset. Most VR games aren’t too large in size so 512 gigs is ample storage for even a hardcore VR collector. I don’t really have any complaints about fit and comfort. I don’t wear glasses and I am appropriate head size for somebody 5’6″.Like many things, battery always is more to be desired. I’ll say it’s perfectly fine, but for any longer sessions, you may run into a dying headset. With the right cable or aftermarket wearable battery, this isn’t a problem. There are certainly trade-offs I’m sure Meta considered when choosing battery size and it’s fine.I definitely don’t regret buying this and Hope VR technology comes far enough that more people can enjoy its experiences without motion sickness and whatnot.

Very fun and great option to buy refurbished
I wasn’t sure about sure about buying refurbished if they would have issues or not. So far a few months in and I am happy to say that I have had no issues, they were pretty much brand new with all accessories and box. These are way better than the 3S I initially tried. I could see the lines on those lenses and it really ruined the experience for me. Still adjusting to playing games, but I really enjoy Beat Saber and the Mini Golf game.

Great value
Got this refurb a year ago and it still works like new. I always play it plugged in, but battery life is ok. Cant really complain about anything. The OS updates have made it a little snappier than when it was new. I did get a lot of accessories for it for comfort. Headband, gasket, etc.

Meta Quest 3: Worth Every Penny
The Meta Quest 3 512GB has been an outstanding addition to my tech collection. Over time, I’ve been able to fully appreciate the upgrade in performance and storage compared to older models. The extra space means I don’t have to constantly delete apps or games, and the graphics still look sharp and immersive every time I use it.One of the things I’ve really valued is the comfort and design. Even after many sessions, the headset remains lightweight and easy to wear, and the controllers continue to feel responsive and precise. It has held up very well with frequent use, which shows the quality of the build.Overall, this device has given me hours of entertainment, whether playing games, watching movies, or trying out new VR experiences. It continues to perform like new, and I can honestly say it was a great investment. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable and powerful VR headset.

leses are better, headse froze a few times
The headset froze a few times, and not even long presses of the On/Off button would shut it down. Very Strange. It even happend a few times, I returned it in frustration. Here’s my 4 point summary of the Quest 3, (I had the Quest 2, Oculus Go, and briefly tried the HTC focus Vision, before returning it)1) The Quest 3 is beautiful, with super nice pancake lenses, and the price is unbeatable. (HTC tried to compete but fell flat on their face for 3x the cost) AR function is decent, that color passthrough is cool.2) The headset is a little narrower than quest 2, so the headgasket and head strap need to be replaced if you’re an adult. It was putting too much pressure on my temples.3) The software is another story. While the Meta ecosystem is full of apps, and plenty of free stuff, I was surprised when the headset froze a few times, and not even a long press of the On/Off button would reset it. There is nothing to do, just let it sit and discharge. Quite unacceptable.4) Here’s the big one: The Meta corp like to know too much about you, so if you’re a private person, don’t even mess with the Quest headsets and Meta ecosystem. If your kids get on your headset they spy and will determine a child is using it and will lock you’re account untill you “PROVE” you’re an adult, by demanding 1) a Credit card, and/or 2) taking a photo of your driver license …. what??? No way! That’s insane, never put your personal information online, certainly to a company like Meta. I abondoned facebook long ago, and I will not give them any of my private information, they are on the wrong path in my opinion. Comprimised to the core, gattering and selling intel on the citizenry to big brother, like the communists and dictatorships do, I think they sold their soul to you know who. But technology is fun, try it for yourself, you might not care about privacy.

Great VR headset and the refurb was exactly like new.
The tech of this VR headset stands on its own; it is the best sub-$1K VR device currently on the market. The reason I am writing this review is to assure those who are hesitant to buy Refurb that Amazon’s premium refurb has consistently been the highest quality experience I have had. Aside from the tag on the box that says “this is a refurbished device,” there would be no discernible way you would be able to tell. The unboxing and quality of the product were exactly as it would have been if it came straight from the factory.

Great fun entertainment!
one of the best entertainment fun thing I got in awhile! Great price for renew, and works great! The battery life needs some work but you can get battery packs with other headset accessory

Great upgrade from the quest 2 with marginally greater comfort. I utilize this headset mostly for PCVR which works wonderfully with the use of Virtual Desktop.I did have an issue where the facial glasses spacer broke, but with the help of Meta’s customer support I was able to get a replacement shipped to me at no cost. Even when there was a hiccup with the delivery they’ve responded fast and helped out as much as they can to get things worked out.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He has loved using it and both of my children have loved using it. I was suggested to anybody with great quality and it makes my family happy.

The default headstrap is a novelty item; you’ll want to purchase an after market one. A friend said one with a battery helps offset the weight and I’m considering upgrading the non-battery aftermarket strap I got.

OkSo i ordered this for sim racing. The package arrived and everything was properly sealed and in good order. I unboxed the whole thing and did not see any scratches or damage to the device in any of its parts.I got a proper cable for it and plugged it in my PC.While the hardware was without anything to complain about. Not the software. You have to sign so many agreements thru your pc and thru your phone it’s not even funny to make the device work. It is heavily tied into meta itself which should be illegal to force you into meta so much and in that way. Really intrusive and annoying process to go thru to get the software installed on your pc. Once installed it messed with my soundcard so for now i had to disable this and put everything aside until i can figure this out and see if there is a better way to do this. Nothing to do with the quest itself. I was completely blown away for the time i was in it.
