My son absolutely loves this game. He’s nine years old and he practically wants to live inside the game if he could of course he loves all of the NBA 2K games. He was really excited about this one and he’s been added pretty much nonstop since he’s got the game it was on sale when I purchased it which was nice for me because I feel like I might’ve saved maybe $10-$15 and any dollar you can save in this economy is always going to be a win.

Solid but familiar 2K experience
NBA 2K26 is pretty much what you’d expect if you’ve been playing the series the past five years. The graphics are sharp, presentation is on point, and gameplay feels smooth overall. Shooting definitely feels improved this year, which makes scoring more satisfying, but defense hasn’t really taken the same step forward.As always, the biggest gripe comes down to the money grabs-MyPlayer and MyTeam are still heavily tied to microtransactions. There are a few new spins on game modes, but nothing truly groundbreaking or game-changing.At the end of the day, it’s a solid basketball video game. If you’re a longtime 2K player, you’ll feel right at home. Just don’t expect a major leap forward-it’s more like a clean, polished update with a few tweaks rather than a revolution.
