Simply Superb!
Top of the line!!!Super easy setup and its performance is better than anything I have ever purchased. Although a bit expensive but if you want a stable and super fast WIFI network then the ORBI 970 is by far the best on the market….hands down.

Fast Safe and Easy
Best wifi setup. My house is 4,100 sq feet. I replace my 2 Netgear Nighthawks with a Netgear Ordi 970. It is great of having 1 Wifi ID. Now I have fast Wifi through out my whole house. I have a GS108 connected to Orbi Router, to provide hardwire internet to other parts of my house. 1 satellite is hardwire and it helps provide fast Wifi to the rest of the house. The second satellite is in my intertainment center and is Wifi connect to the other satellite. Now my entertainment device has very fast speed as if they were hard wire to my network

Don’t buy this
I’ve been using the Netgear Orbi 970 mesh system for the past month, and unfortunately my experience has been far from the seamless, high‑speed coverage I was promised. Here’s a breakdown of where it falls short:1. Strong Signal, No InternetOn paper, the Orbi 970 delivers rock‑solid Wi‑Fi bars on every device—even in the furthest rooms of my home. In reality, I’ll see full signal strength… and zero internet access. I’ve walked through rooms with maxed‑out bars only to have every browser, streaming app, or smart‑home device report “No Internet.” It’s baffling and infuriating, especially when a quick speed test plugged directly into the modem shows a perfect connection.2. Modem Isn’t the CulpritBefore assuming the Orbi was to blame, I connected straight to my modem and ran multiple speed and stability tests. Everything checked out—consistent gigabit download/upload speeds, no packet loss, rock‑solid pings. Yet once I re‑enable the Orbi, intermittent drops and full “no internet” periods return. Clearly the mesh hardware or firmware is struggling.3. Overpriced for UnderperformanceAt the price point of the Orbi 970, I expected a top‑tier solution: flawless handoffs between satellites, zero downtime, and lightning‑fast throughput. Instead, I’ve lost work calls to random drops, had video streams buffer endlessly despite showing full bars, and wasted hours troubleshooting. It’s simply not acceptable to pay flagship pricing for this level of inconsistency.Bottom Line:If you need a rock‑solid, always‑online home network—especially in a busy household or home office—the Orbi 970 is a poor choice. It looks great, it boasts excellent range, and it may even maintain a strong signal—but it can’t keep you reliably connected. I spent far too much on this system, and I regret not sticking with a wired or lower‑cost mesh option that at least promised stability over hype.

Huge Uprgrade
My wife and I both work from home and spend most of our days on video calls. We have four kids, which means lots of connected devices and gaming systems. And we have a lot of connected home tech including high end whole house audio systems, smart lights, etc. Our legacy Eero system was struggling to keep up and certainly not getting close to our 1 gigabit Fios speed. Enter the Netgear Orbi 970 with 4 satelites. This system is amazing. While we have limited WiFi 7 enabled tech at the moment, the wireless internet speed and coverage is a huge improvement. Speed tests around the house consistently show maximum WiFi speeds and everything is noticeably more responsive. No more poor video calls, no more laggy gaming, no more dropped audio streaming. The system is an investment, but one that I’m very happy I made. Set up was super easy and the satellites quickly filled our entire indoor (3 levels / very wide) and outdoor space with blazing fast internet. Highly recommended!

Great coverage, very fast WiFi
After having a Google WiFi system installed for 3 years, I found that it had become pretty slow. I have a 1GB internet connection but it would struggle to get to 100 Mbps downloads best case, and would test at 30-40 Mbps most of the time. I tried to strategically place the Google WiFi pucks to where they tested “Great” in the app but speeds were still slow. I bought a 4th Google WiFi puck an that didn’t help either.I have 45 devices competing for bandwidth on the network at any given time, including 4 cameras that are constantly streaming. I also have a pretty challenging WiFi situation in that the ISP’s modem is at the very end of my 3-story home and in the basement. By the time you get to the bedroom on the top floor at the other end of the house WiFi signal was very poor. A non-mesh WiFi router doesn’t even work. After days of research and wondering whether I really wanted to spend $600 on my WiFi setup, I finally bough this Orbi AX6000 router and satellite. My first impression was that they’re huge, because they are huge compared to Google’s pucks. But each Orbi has a 4-port router which is awesome (I never understood why Google limited their system to just one additional hard-wired port). The app takes you through the setup step-by-step, and is very intuitive. It would have been cool if it actually worked but it didn’t (hence the 4-star rating). I got hung up at the last step where the app could not find my Orbi router. I clicked on “Try Again”, it failed again, and gave me some steps to go through that also didn’t work. I finally clicked on a pretty obscure link in the app that was for people that had an incompatible Smart Phone. I assumed my iPhone X was compatible but I clicked on it anyway. It opens up a painfully small web view within the app and had me go through all of the things I just went through in the native app experience. Once done, it put me back in the app and everything worked. With just my phone on the network, I saw around 700 Mbps download after the app tested my connection at 850 Mbps. As the other 44 devices slowly rediscovered the network speeds predictably dropped to around 300 Mbps which is at a minimum 3x faster than I saw with the Google WiFi setup and in some cases 10x faster. The speed tests are consistent anywhere in my home now, and that far upstairs bedroom sees 300 Mbps now.Once set up, the Orbi app is simple to use and has a cleaner layout than the Google app. I like that you can toggle devices on and off, too.I feel that this was definitely a good investment even though this setup is twice the cost of it’s closest competitor.EDIT 2/28/21:I realized today that a surveillance camera that is 150 feet from my house (and about 200+ feet from the Orbi router or satellite) can now connect directly to Orbi. Previously it would not work with Google WiFi due to the distance. I had hardwired an access point about 100 feet out in my yard for that camera to connect to. I no longer need that with the Orbi!

It came with 110v POWER ADAPTER. I ordered from amazon.sa, it should be all electronic in KSA is 220v.

I have 4 units in a mesh system, When this works it’s great. However, for the price it is disappointing. My good experiences are tempered by too many drop outs and random disconnects. Occasionally iPhones/Ipads disconnect and the wi fi has to be switched on and off to reconnect. The app is slow and clunky and not really of much help – in particular, devices connected. It often appears out of sync with reality. Also its very irritating that every time the app is opened, Netgear bug you with adverts for paid subscriptions to anti malware protection. It’s a router .. not an advertising platform !!When it works it’s fast – but I couldn’t whole heated recommend this product.

Sin ningún problema y midiendo las velocidades, se aprecia la mejora del mis equipos ya con 8 años de uso, pero que se pudieron integrar a través de cable y como AP Mode

I originally had a basic Velop mesh system and decided to upgrade to a premium option. I chose Netgear, expecting great performance given its price and marketing. However, when I set it up in the same spot as the Velop, the units couldn’t even connect to each other. Despite the large size of the device, I was willing to overlook its appearance for a superior connection. Unfortunately, this turned out to be my worst experience ever, and I felt completely ripped off. I will be replacing it with the Deco X90.

after trying a few other products, this is the only one that managed to cover my full 2 stories house with no gaps in any rooms.. I needed to install one router plus 3 satellites in order to maximize the coverage and cover all the wholes, but after that it’s been working perfectly for more than a year. Also with as many satellites, all rooms have strong coverage with very good speeds. Only issue is it’s one of the most expensive options in the market, but amazing quality and installation is super easy following the steps on their application.
