bbfly-K02 OBD Port lock is compatible with all vehicles produced after 1996 with an OBD2 port. However, as the locations of OBD2 ports vary among different brands and models, please check whether the OBD2 port of the vehicle matches the product before purchasing.

bbfly-K02 OBD2 lock is solider and weigh much more than other products. Excluding the packaging and keys, the net weight of the product reaches 4.6oz (130g).
If it is found that the key cannot be pulled out, please continue to turn it to a fixed position in the “OFF” direction forcefully, and then the key can be pulled out.
Equipped with a double groove blade cylinder, K02 has a complex interior structure, and the cylinder blade can have over 10,000 variations.
If it’s difficult for you to turn the key manually, you may use our stick or vice to pinch the key’s bottom to facilitate your turning.
BBFLY OBDII lock perfectly replaces screw locking by using a key and an integrated key cylinder. Screw locking has apparent defects, such as complex installation and disassembling and high probability of being unlocked by small tools.
Other products available on the market are fixed with screws. BBFLY OBD2 lock needs a key only to lock and unlock the OBD port.
With an aluminum alloy shell and reinforced ABS, BBFLY OBD lock can prevent violent unlocking. Without a key with your code, the OBD lock cannot be dismantled without damaging the pins and wiring harness.

A solid metal lock – over a plastic port
This does lock the port on my ’01 Ram, but is a bit loose. It’s not going to fall off, and even pulling and twisting, it does stay on. The keys work well at locking and unlocking, and it does not release the key in an unlocked position, which is good, so you know you’ve locked it when the key is removed. It’s metal, and is solid. Too bad the ports themselves are made of cheap plastic. This may not be a perfect protection device, but certainly worth it to slow or deter a theft, which makes it worth the price.

Too Big To Fit
The product itself is made of great quality and I’m certain is quite effective in thwarting theives. However…it was too bulky to reach the ODB port on my 2022 Lexus IS500. I would have to cut the plastic under liner around the port so it would fit and that is a no-go. The device is not as universal as it needs to be.

The Quality Management of the Product Needs Validated
The keyway in this product is challenging. We had to return the product for a replacement. Could not remove the key after locking with the device installed. Worked fine not installed. Tried on two different vehicles. Figured out the product had a quality issue and requested a replacement. The second one does work. However, I hope I can get it to unlock.
