the legendary shape is back better than ever.
this is probably the best palm grip mouse out there, the built quality is what you expect from a premium brand. the white color is nice and it feels smooth on my hand. the grip is great for resting your palm, I’m more a hybrid type where I hold the mouse with my finger tips and I didn’t have issues doing so. it can slide very quickly, playing competitive matches I noticed an improvement over my g pro superlight, this is not due ergonomics, I would say it’s because to me Razer makes either a better mouse or their sensor is just a tad bit better. the wireless function is also excellent, I love the new dome wireless receptor, it looks amazing and it’s the same smooth plastic surface as the mouse, it stays in place and it has 3 LED indicative lights that you can configure on the synapse app to tell your DPI, polling rate, battery life, etc. I turned the 8K polling rate on, I know it can be taxing on your FPS but my 5800x3D seems to have no issues with it because I had no change on FPS whatsoever even on intensive CPU bound games. the only thing is that I didn’t test it with a 480hz monitor to feel any difference, at 240hz it felt exactly the same to 1K polling rate.My only gripe is the click sound, here I thought the g pro superlight was bad, well Razer deathadder V4 Pro has the loudest click I’ve ever experienced with a mouse, if you’re not a competitive player this will probably bother you a lot. this is due the mouse being a pro player first rather than PC comfort usage, we the sweaty won’t care about it, we just want the fastest and most accurate click possible, at least there is a lot of feedback and for me it helped to avoid misfiring my weapon.I’m super happy with this mouse, it’s expensive but well worth it, the battery life last way longer than my Logitech and the fit is very comfortable, the shape is very familiar and reminiscent of the legendary MS intellimouse 3.0 , but times changes and my new favorite shape is a bit smaller with less curve, so I’m still on the fence for the Viper V4 pro, hopefully Razer does the same great job they did here

Jumping mouse wheel no more!
I was using the DeathAdder v3 beforehand which had a huge issue with the scroll wheel jumping. The material feel on the v4 feels smoother and the mouse wheel feels sturdier and very responsive comparably to the v3.Battery life is very good so far, 8+ hrs a day for a week and only at 73% battery! Size and build is nearly identical to v3 as well. There are many options to toggle through for DPI but realistically you would stick to one to maintain consistency in FPS games so personally I stick to using just one setting.Since this mouse just came out recently, the price is kind of on the high end for my taste so maybe wait for a sale if you can, but you can’t go wrong with this mouse if you’re looking for a comfortable smooth mouse for work or gaming!

This mouse is the best
This is the best mouse. I went through lots of mouses. The battery life is incredible for the weight. It’s fits perfectly in a hand of a bigger side. Everything is saved to on board memory, so if you change something in the synapse software, and don’t want the program on your pc. You wont need it again until you want to change something. Also, the wireless component has led lights indicating signal strength and battery life.

Easy to use and great battery life
Nice feel to the mouse and great battery life with a 8k polling rate. I set it up and forget about it and it’s very light to move around the mousepad.

Great mouse so far. Only time will tell for reliability. Very overpriced though.
Great mouse so far. I’ve owned a lot of different razer mouses in the past – normal DA and hyperspeed versions. The main fault point on most of them for me was the scrollwheel, usually ghosting.I decided to pull the trigger on this hoping the scrollwheel lasts with the new optical build, although I personally think it’s still very overpriced. The mouse fits in hand like you would expect for a deathadder, although this one runs a bit large from my research. I have a 19″ CM length hand so it works perfect for me. Mouse feels good in game, been testing on BF6.The one thing I really like which I didn’t expect is the new wireless dongle they provide. It has a good weight to it so it doesn’t move around and the lighting settings are really great. Being able to see the mouse battery level on the dongle without having to open the software is awesome. Once it starts going orange I will charge it, where as my previous hyperspeed I would have it die sometimes mid game.

Best gaming mouse ever!
So far, this is the best mouse I’ve ever used. Fits my larger hands pretty well. Very comfortable. Has a long battery life and the wheel feels great.

Just buy it.
Undoubtedly, this mouse is the most exceptional mouse available on the market. While its price may be high, it is undoubtedly worth every penny. The buttons are exceptionally responsive, providing excellent feedback. The mouse exhibits zero latency and boasts the best response time among all available options. The battery life is remarkably long, although it may be reduced when operating at an 8k polling rate. If I were to rate this mouse a perfect 10 stars, I would do so without hesitation. I highly recommend purchasing this mouse, as it is well worth the investment and I would certainly consider purchasing it again in the future.

Love it
This is a very different product from the “DeathAdder Essential Gaming Mouse 6400 DPI”, misleadingly sold under the same name, which does not even have official specs. I feel like I wasted 2 years of life. My game quality went up significantly from the first hours of use. with the latter.

Shape Ergonomics 8/10, could be better if the edges were rounded off instead of pointed to allow for a more comfortable ring finger wrap around the front of the mouseMouse Switches 10/10 Clicks with the new optical switches are extremely nice and very satisfying.Scroll Wheel 11/10, probably the best scroll wheel I have ever used on a mouse. period.Sensor and Tracking 10/10 when it works 0/10 when it hitches. The new Deathadder has an extermely nice coating and the little refinements over the V3 are noticeable in the hand. What I cannot attest to is the actual reliability and performance of the mouse. I have had several hitches on the mouse where the sensor would either not track properly or it skips. Sometimes the connection would feel like it is not stable despite having the green leds on the dongle. How often does this occur varies. When I’m gaming 8/10 times the mouse is working the way it should but since there is that 20% chance where something just doesn’t behave like it should it gets quite annoying. I am expecting this to be resolved via updates from Synapse.Synapse reviewA lot of individuals complain about the Synpase bogging down your pc or causing issues with lag but I have not see anything of the sort. I set the mouse config and don’t touch it and it doesn’t effect me either. I have used other mice while the Deathadder was connected and haven’t had any issues with the program running in the background. If there is a limitation based on PC spec, that could be the reason why people have issues with the program if their pcs are not as good. For now I will rate it 2/5 and will update my review if the mouse is fixed via update or possibly I have gotten a bad mouse. This mouse would get 4.9/5 if I had no issues with hitching. the -0.1 is the pointed edge in the front that reduces the ergonomic feel.
