Very Impressed with the Picture Quality, Plus Ease of Set Up and Use
Full disclosure: the last projector I used was a Compaq MP2800 (MSRP $4,999!!!) from around the turn of the millennium. My dad inherited a couple from work when they became outdated and we each had one as toys. XGA native resolution.After playing with this one, it’s crazy how far the technology has come.Pros:Extremely easy and fast setup. Chose to allow auto-focus and automatic software updates was basically it. 10x faster than getting an Amazon Fire device running (I have several sticks and Insignia Fire TVs).Had Netflix up and running within minutes, as the setup moved into logging into Netflix automatically.It comes with official versions of Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video pre-installed. For other apps, you can search in the built-in app assistant, though they run in a web version. I confirmed with the seller that this is due to Netflix copyright restrictions, but it’s more than enough for me, especially considering the great value for money.The brightness is excellent—even with lights on, the image remains clear, though it performs best in a dark environment.It supports 4K video playback, though the native resolution is 1080P, which still looks really nice and crisp.Even on a light-blue wall in my finished basement, the color seems excellent.I use Plex quite a bit for the kids. That was in the app store and seemed to be pre-installed. I had a movie running within 2 minutes. It was a 4k one but transcoded quickly for viewing on this smart projector. The WiFi connection seems better than my Insignia Fire 4K TV.I moved it around to 3 places in my finished basement during testing and I cannot stress enough how easy it was to have the auto-focus and auto-keystone feature fix up a nice image for me. Very impressive indeed.The built-in speakers may feel a bit limited at first, but you can enable the surround sound option in settings to noticeably enhance the audio effect.Cons:You have to crank the volume up at least to 25% to cover the fan noise. Naively I would have thought LED bulbs would mean much quieter fan as they are using a fraction of the power of my old projector. My old projector’s fan is really aggravating though. This one isn’t nearly as bad and with the volume up it’s not an issue. I will probably pick one of my old bluetooth speakers to use with this, or a set of small PC speakers from Goodwill!The listing states stereo sound. I really think this projector only has one speaker. The grill on one side seems to be air exhaust only.

Ich bin absolut begeistert und nutze den Beamer nun fast täglich und bin rundum zufrieden. Egal ob Filme, Serien, Sportübertragungen oder mal eine Präsentation fürs Homeoffice – das Gerät liefert immer ein klares, helles Bild und tolle Farben. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass er selbst in einem normal beleuchteten Wohnzimmer ein sehr gutes Bild projiziert. Abends im abgedunkelten Raum fühlt man sich dann wirklich wie im Kino.Die Bedienung ist einfach und auch für Technik-Laien problemlos machbar. Der Beamer ist schnell aufgebaut, die Einstellungen sind selbsterklärend und er verbindet sich ohne Probleme mit Laptop, Smartphone oder Konsole. Für Gaming funktioniert er ebenfalls super – das Bild ist groß, flüssig und macht richtig Spaß.Auch die Lautstärke hat mich positiv überrascht: Der Lüfter ist angenehm leise, sodass man beim Filmabend nicht ständig Nebengeräusche hört. In Kombination mit einer Soundbar oder externen Lautsprechern hat man fast schon ein kleines Heimkino.Alles in allem ein Beamer, der sich perfekt für den Alltag eignet – unkompliziert, zuverlässig und mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann ihn uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ich habe lange nach einem Beamer gesucht und bin am Ende auf diesen gestoßen.Ich wurde sehr positiv überrascht. Die Inbetriebnahme war mühelos und unkompliziert. Es ist eine Fernbedienung dabei die ohne Probleme funktioniert und man somit alles super einstellen kann, sowohl die Schärfe, als auch die Position von dem Bild und die Lautstärke. Der beiliegende Standfuß lässt einem viel Spielraum um den Beamer perfekt überall zu positionieren, somit bringt er alles mit sich was man braucht um Filmabende im Wohnzimmer, als auch im Garten zu genießen. Das Bild zeigt sich in schönen satten Farben und guter Qualität, auch ohne Leinwand und lässt sich somit super an jeder Wand projizieren. Sowohl bei Tageslicht, als auch im Dunkeln ist das Bild schön zu erkennen. Das Menü ist sehr übersichtlich und es enthält auch vorgegebene Apps, z.B Netflix, Youtube und viele weitere.Durch mehrere Anschlussmöglichkeiten, HDMI, USB kann ich problemlos verschiedene Geräte verbinden, egal ob Lautsprecher, Laptop oder mein Smartphone. Mit einer schnell hergestellten WLAN Verbindung lässt sich ein Filmeabend schnell starten und begeistert somit die ganze Familie.Ich bin von grundauf begeistert und kann den Beamer jedem mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
