I bought this to take a few hundred photos with my phone’s camera indoors. And for that purpose, it is fantastic. What put it over the top for me was the little remote that allows me to take the picture from a distance. Having both the ability to keep the camera fixed in on single spot and being able to take the pic from somewhere other than in back of the tripod was huge time saver.The height on this tripod is also helpful for providing different options. I found the weight and thickness of the posts perfect for my purposes. Being made out of aluminum, I am not sure how this would do outside in higher wind conditions, but for normal weather, I think it would be just fine. It is certainly stable on its feet.It comes with a bag – which is really helpful. The remote is tiny and easy to misplace. There is also an extra mount in the package. Both of which can be easily kept safe in the bag in between uses. It is worth noting that you do need to detach the head fit everything in the bag.The universal phone holder will work with most phones. It is tension clamp, so that might rule out some foldable designs. An important point about the clamp is that the tension is significant. It is not going to damage the phone, but it takes two hands and some focus to safely remove the phone.I paid less than $40 for this and that is outstanding for something of this caliber. It does all the basic things you want a tripod to do and does them well. It is not intended to professionals and at some point, it’s lightweight and lower cost materials will hit their limits.

Love this tripod! Have had it out on one shoot now. So far no problem! It looks great and with 4 sections of leg to extend. It has a professional feel to it. Though no ball head for leveling. It does top my old Walmart Tripod in height about 6 inches. Love the red color and finish. It comes with “feet” to get screwed in at the bottom of each leg. One of the feet would not screw on cleanly, but the unit still works fine. Also, check the camera mount fitting onto the top of the tripod. Adapter looks like my Walmart tripod. So guess what, I tried to use a Walmart adapter to shoot a story, it was no- go because you have to use the adapter which comes with the tripod (Duh!) Very easy to set up, and fit back in it’s carrying case.

Wow! This is a PRO Camera, Phone, or Any Device Tripod! I purchased this. It was not given to me but deserves this review. This Tripod is SOLID, stable and just looks and feels professional! It comes with TWO quick release 1/4” (standard) screw base mounts so you can have (2) devices ready to mount at any given time. They also include a nice large black canvas carry bag with a shoulder strap big enough to hold the Tripod and several small accessories. The phone mount they include is the cherry on top of the ice cream! I love the way the Phone Mount attachment is spring loaded so all you have to do is spread it and clamp it on your phone! This Tripod also includes a weight hook at the bottom of the center post that guarantees sure stability on any terrain. This is MUCH better than I expected. Truly a VALUE for the price! I “generally” don’t write reviews on products I purchase, but just had to on this one! Comes in a nice retail box with good instructions. Took me about 5 minutes to assemble without reading the manual. What a great gift this would make for any occasion! Shipping was super fast as usual. Item was boxed very nicely with no dents, damage or holes. VERY satisfied! Highly recommended! Honest review.
